Revised thanks to advice from the Displaced Discord Chat (Thanks guys!)

So I am writing and working on the latest chapter of The Alter Accords, I am about halfway through it, feeling alright about how its coming out so far. I hit the save button and as I do my comp crashes. Its just a crash I didn't think anything of it. I got to open up my chapter and its corrupted. Attempted to recover it but to no avail.

So a moment of silence for the incomplete chapter that I will now have to start over from scratch.

Title says it all. Yes, I still don't know if I'm going to finish this beast. This arc gives me headaches for many reasons. But... well, when the inspiration strikes, sometimes you just gotta run with it.

Chapter 9, Part 2 ended up needing to split again because it was massive, far and away the longest chapter I've written for this story. Clocking in at 18,000 words WITHOUT the cut parts, which are being shifted into Chapter 9, Part 3, which will happen... eventually.

I just finished writing the first pass at chapter 1 last night. Sitting at a beautiful 2.2k words, Twilight recounts events that led up to where we are now. Tomorrow I plan on starting the editing process and begining to write the next chapter. Hopefully editing doesn't take too long and I can get the chapter published soon.

I'm also grappling with writers block, trying to decide how to build up to this climax. Right now, I'm struggling with too much exposition and partially regretting my decision for adding too many Pokémon.
