Long ago, I had a similar concept for a story named “Tarnished Soul” which has been ultimately dismantled and put back together in what we all know and love as Transparent Living. I might revisit it, but let’s focus on the task at hand- this was on the inspiration playlist.
Well, not exactly a "musical", but just add a few songs here and there in the story. I only have a few songs in mind, and I want to keep it a few if I do decide to add some songs. Maybe it's just because it's a trebley instrument but I'm honestly surprised how clear it sounds. Anyway, technology is pretty awesome.

I never really thought about it much until just recently, but there is a certain generation of Anime fans out there that know what Ranma 1/2 is. That's the English title. In Japanese, it's Ranma Nibunnoichi. You can blame this piece of inspiration for the ending. To me, the scene of Cooper approaching his aged daughter in the hospital bed was something that haunted my mind for a good portion of my teenage life. Although, not directly, I realize that this has influenced the way I write endings- bittersweet.
