You’ll notice first hand that this video is fan-made. There is a good reason behind this. Let’s start with the basics though.
This is one of the foundational inspiration pieces. This is actually the piece that helped me put together the dream sequence in Ch 5. I borrow a lot of core parts from this. Most of what I was after was the stark reality/dream contrast. On top of that, wanted the feel of the dream. I was wondering if I would create a piece that would capture a similar feeling. That is for you to decide.
Even if this music video is fan-made, it being a mish-mash of an owl city song and an existing animation called “Second Wind”, it carries an interesting feel/vibe. That’s what I enjoy about any art form. It is an attempt to capture a feeling hard to describe, yet is as real as the wind brushing past you.
