Long ago, I had a similar concept for a story named “Tarnished Soul” which has been ultimately dismantled and put back together in what we all know and love as Transparent Living. I might revisit it, but let’s focus on the task at hand- this was on the inspiration playlist.
As you have read, Stay Alive is one of those songs I overplayed on my list. Nowadays, It hurts to listen to since all the life has been sucked out of it. Same story here. Only, it came back to life. For a while, I forgot about this song due to burnout. But then, it surfaced again and asked to be part of the family again. Now, it is shiny and new. It still holds the message I was trying to convey in Tarnished Soul: that the best days happen in the middle of our trials.
That is the reason why Transparent Living has a positive outlook on events. It’s Diamond Dazzle Tiara trying to get used to her new life in Mane-hattan. It starts out as depressing, since Diamond Tiara doesn’t know where to go or what to do, or even who she is. But, it turns happier as the new Dazzle Tiara learns to roll with whatever life throws at her.
