Let’s face it- MLD was the catalyst that brought me into the fandom. I mean, having a cartoon character housed with you? Brilliant. Anyways, that is distracting at the point at hand. There are two music pieces that I got from the custom soundtrack made for the reading: Yiruma ‘River Flows in you’ (music box), and A Walk Down the Trail by Reasoner (which is also in the playlist and will have its own post soon).
Ironically, I associate this piece too much with MLD. That is what partially inspired me with the concept of sending off Diamond Tiara to cement her reformation. With who? A complete stranger she has never uttered the name of… somepony shy, modest, yet lives on their own… Coco Pommel! (partially why Fluttershy was not a viable option- too obvious, and not to mention Discord and his shenanigans).
When I begun this journey years ago, I had no idea that it would take me this far. I’m surprised with the wisdom that has surfaced as I reviewed my past writing. Just goes to show how important it is to learn and reflect from the past.
