Thoughts: Season 8 Opener · 6:09pm Mar 24th, 2018
A few quick thoughts on the two-part Season 8 opener, “School Days.” Spoilers, obviously, so skip it if you haven’t seen it.

While Magical Mystery Cure was initially meant to be the finale of the show, plans had changed so that a fourth season could come about and milk more money from parents and Bronies. It's pretty risky to extend a show's lifespan, you know; we all know what happened with SpongeBob (at least until the creator came back to show them how it's done until he passed away... may he rest in peace).
Going back and watching seasons four seasons later has kind of become my Thing since… oh, about four seasons now. :B So, this post covers season four, with reflections and observations I make about each episode when and where I can.
A road trip episode, you say? Well, it can't be any worse than the Sandwich Brothers' road trip.
The one where Starlight just straight up kills Discord.
With nothing really to do, I've been catching up on my MLP episodes. I've been highly enjoying them as of late, so much so I might have a few updates coming along. Nothing like watching some new episodes to get the juices flowing, to reignite the flair within the soul and cause your muse to come alive!
So, title says it all. I'm stuck in a different country, and too sick to do anything except huddle pitiably in my hotel room. But! It's given me the compelling reason I've needed to finally watch season 6. This evening, I've gotten up to the end of 8, A Hearth's Warming Tale. There will be more updates tomorrow as I work my way through the season.
Episodes 1&2: The Crystalling
It’s a Hearth’s Warming special, and... today is my sister Julianna’s 9th birthday! Happy b-day Juju!
- My below stories stand on their own in a consistent My Little Pony canon-compliant universe* (except where noted). They require no reading of their siblings to enjoy.
- The index can be used: (1) for reading in "order" or, (2) to read a story that takes place during a specific season!

Finally back with a brand new analysis! I loved this episode, it's now possibly my favorite pony episode ever. It took me three months to make this video, due to life always getting in the way. I hope you enjoy it!
Fast as lightning, sharp as a sword
With my late entries, I'm starting to rethink my opening slogan . . .
Man, I just can't think of anything to say about last week's episode. The opening was great, the rest was just eh. I wish it had been a bit more "Discord thinks Twilight's life is too organized (i.e., the opposite of chaotic) and wants to punish her for it". Instead, it's really tedious, and I don't know if that's better or worse than an episode that makes me cringe or gets me upset. I guess it's got a message about how memes wear thin after a while? Except Bob Ross! :V
Before we begin the review, let us first obeserve a moment of silence for those killed in the horrific terrorist attacks on Paris, France last night.
Hey, everyone! Welcome to the fourth episode of Mellow Mondays! There’s not much to cover this week: a little good news, a little bad news. Anyways, let’s get right into it.
Good News: New Chapter!
Well, you know what today is, right?
And to celebrate, we've got a Halloween themed episode. The third such episode of the whole series (fourth if you count "Castle Mane-ia"). Before we go any further, yes, I know this episode was leaked in advance. But I always prefer to wait and watch episodes when they air if I can help it.
Yeah late, I already explained last week, let's get to it shall we?
Fluttershy prepping for Nightmare Night looks a bit different than normal people, namely battening down her cottage.
We got spiders barricading the windows and bears making hidy holes (well prepping under the bed for hiding all night long) buuuut Fluttershy forgot Dev- I mean Angel's food so out to town.
