Fast as lightning, sharp as a sword
With my late entries, I'm starting to rethink my opening slogan . . . 
So, "The One Where Pinkie Pie Knows" proved what 98% of all the fans expected when we first hear the episode summary: Cadance and Shining Armor are expecting! While I'm not a huge Pinkie fan, the episode itself was pretty good. Several comedic scenes that utilize Pinkie's bizarre abilities, a few quick scenes of fan love (Derpy and Dinky together!), and of course, Armor's enormous schoolcolt freakout. No moral, no lesson, just good, clean, simple fun. I kinda like it that way. 
My one gripe: I think the payoff would have been much better if they had kept it a secret throughout, and not said it straight out before the opening. But as it is, it's a humorous use of dramatic irony, so I can't really complain.
So, anyway, a couple of days ago, I got a few things for my birthday (which was actually yesterday, and we're sort of celebrating today 
). Take a look!
I finally got my fedora! YES! I will wear it as a spit in the face of the haters!
Speaking of which, before any of them has anything to say about my new hat:
Anyway, the jacket was unexpected, but I love it! And I've been waiting for Super Smash Bros. for a year, and I finally have it! With the Mewtwo DLC, too! Been playing for three days! 
And finally, regarding the latest chapters of "The Phantom Pony of Everfree" and "Pride of the Apples". The former seems to be doing better with each chapter, but I'm kind of upset that the latter is only getting dislikes from here. Look, I know the new chapter isn't the best, but give it a chance. It gets better, trust me.

OH MY GOODNESS YES! I had to explain mid-episode to my roommates (they don't internet) the significance of that scene.
That look of horror on his face at the destroyed comic was my favorite part of the episode.
It's only as cringey as the stereotype that comes with it.
