I'm trying so hard to avoid the spoilers for the Equestria Girls specials. It's nearly impossible to even not look into the designs of the "new" characters in them... BUT HOLY HOT DAMN STARLIGHT'S DESIGN IS FKIN GREAT!!!! Sunset is still best (looking) human though. But Starlight is prob 2nd best for me right now. Still gotta wait for the English release now...

Lots of people have already said this, but: yeah, it was great. Second best EqG thing after Rainbow Rocks. Lots of good things, eg PONIES! Also Celestia not instantly being okay with Sunset. Also world-building. Also Trixie. Also... etc. A few bad things, eg the forced lyrics in the first song. But overall, great. ★★★★

All I can say is oh my glob, a literal 4th wall breath in the most raw sense of the word. PInkie Pie, I love you, never change.

So far, it actually benefits a lot from the shorter run time. Well, story-wise, at least. The animation looked a little sockpuppet-y.

If I put some clips from Rainbow Rocks together correctly, I could probably make a trailer for the movie that made it seem like The Dazzlings are the good guys and the Rainbooms are the bad ones. Maybe. It would take some time, though, cause almost all the Dazzlings' dialogue is inherently fricken evil.

Oh my gosh it was so cute! I love their new dresses and outfits and hair! Ah, so good. I'm going to have to write a fic or two for it. Now, I can't wait for EQG 5!
