Part of that was that I was actually writing stories, but becoming discouraged with the feedback the pre-readers were giving me. A few times I was even told the basic frame of the story was flawed more or less beyond repair. So I gave up on those stories, letting them languish in Gdocs forever.

Turns out that same factory makes about 1 in every 14 flash memory chips in the world.
