Next time on The Guiding of the Sirens...

Seriously though, the second published chapter since the exam doldrums, following up with Guiding of the Sirens chapter two!

    Chapter Six Ready to Read

It's been a long time in the making, but Cosmic Defiance chapter six is written, proofread (hopefully well), and uploaded. If you have just finished reading the chapter, great! I'll explain what I promised in the author's note at the end of the chapter. If not, great! Get to reading it if you've been anticipating it.....or if you're here for the blog post anyway, go ahead. It's just an

    Happy New Year's to Everyone

I hope your 2016 goes well.

Meanwhile, I'm still not done with any chapter as of yet.

That nap earlier today didn't help me at all.

    Playing Catch-up

I know I haven't even hinted at a chapter in the past few weeks, but I can assure everyone that I'm working on them each and every night now. Things have been very hectic on my end due to various factors, but I'll get right on breaking down my recent events and hopefully quelling some of the impatience from people wanting more.

Quick update and a story snippet

I'll admit that my stories haven't had an update in a while. I'd like to blame Bethesda and their timely (or untimely depending on your stance) release of Fallout 4. I've just been too absorbed in playing it that I forgot my writing. :twilightsheepish:

SUPERNATURAL SEASON TEN ENDING THOUGH

But seriously, I'm out of my slump and working overtime on the new chapter, as well as keeping tabs on the new story to see how it goes. If it goes well, I'll definitely continue it. If not, well, let's just say it'll be a backburner project while I work on the main fic.

So Cos Def chapter three: now with 200% more word count. Seriously, the word count on that chapter was massive compared to the previous ones, and it managed to double the total word count for the fic thus far (and I'd like to correct myself in saying that my personal word count record is actually a bit over 10k words. I went back and checked the old fic chapters). Seriously though, if writer's block can do that, I would start letting it affect me more often. LOL Seriously though, it was long overdue for an update and it couldn't come at a more opportune time seeing as how new episodes of the series are running again, so the website will be getting some traffic from those seeking fanfics involving the most recent episodes.

On another note, Zone of the Equestrians is still in a bit of a roadblock when it comes to progression (give me a break, it's based on a game I played almost a decade ago. Gameplay videos and story cutscenes can only get you so far). Out of the three series I have going, that one is possibly the lowest on my priority list, but I shall be working on it as well. Just...not as much as the other two.

As far as I'm concerned with The Guiding of the Sirens, that one is a bit of an "experimental" approach to writing, at least from my perspective. The most romance genre experience I have involves two protagonists in an action/adventure filled environment, and I've been told my slice-of-life writing is mediocre at best. I'm also in a bit of a spat with my editor for reasons I'd rather not say, so bear with me as I'm proofreading my own work. -holds up a "looking for editor" sign-

All of that being said, I hope that all of you readers won't come knocking down my door wielding torches and pitchforks looking for the latest chapters in these series. I'm doing the best I can here. Really. Really really.

...Perhaps Density Destiny and anticipation for Fallout 4 isn't helping BUT YOU DIDN'T HEAR THAT FROM ME.
