Because, both of them are heroic time-keeping swordsmen directly serving under gods themselves, whose job is to travel the multiverse, fix errors in the timestream, and fight those who seek to alter time for their own gain.
Both also wield legendary mystic swords which boast tons of time-altering abilities.

I actually kinda remembered watching these when I was younger. They were mostly around sports, very few around other things, but I guess, in some weird way, if I traveled back in time to meet my younger self, I'd tell myself "Use these for something involving a Superhero/Supervillain named Deadpool, with a lot of blood and ponies."
Would you look at that, I need to go back to school! You know what that means: less frequent updates! Oh joy! But seriously, I'm going back to school, so my stories will be updated less frequently. Schoolwork takes priority over writing fanfiction, unfortunately. But don't worry, I'm working on new chapters for my favorite stories, The First Pony to Time Travel Without a Spell and
Potatoes and Space Travel. Two things that very few people would associate with each other. At least that is until a few years ago when published an interesting book about a marooned astronaut that wound up becoming a best seller and later, a highly popular film.
I speak, of course, about The Martian starring Matt Damon with the story written by Andy Weir.

This will probably be a long shot but I am attempting to find a story I read several years ago on this website. I may be confusing two stories into one, so brownie points if you can figure it out.
Here is what I remember
After finishing Rainbow Dash: Equestrian Hero, I started to get an idea. However, instead of adding another to the growing list of stories I want to work on, I'm going to share it instead. So Twilight's castle is really weird, isn't it? Just why IS the outside so much different than the inside? Well I put my theory fourth while exploring the castle for myself.
Let me be clear that I am only thinking about it, and that it probably won't happen.
I've always wanted to attend Bronycon or any of the other bigger Brony conventions. I've only been to two that had taken place in my hometown (which weren't very big), and while I enjoyed both of them, Bronycon would be something totally different.
