Help Finding an Old Fic

This will probably be a long shot but I am attempting to find a story I read several years ago on this website. I may be confusing two stories into one, so brownie points if you can figure it out.

Here is what I remember

• It was a longer fic, at least between 10 - 25 chapters.
• It was Twilight Sparkle centric, she was the Princess and de facto leader of Equestria.
• The ponies (maybe not all) became hyperaware of their existence as TV characters and were facing a threat of being permanently deleted.
• The hyperawareness also played into body horror.
• There was a famine or apocalypse of some sort, and Twilight had to exile a student of hers to what amounted to a death sentence. Due to him destroying what could have ended the famine.
• There was a big part with time travel. Twilight cracked the code for it and was visited by her future self, told how to do it, and then time traveled herself to do the same thing - creating a time loop.
• It wasn't finished.

I'm 100% positive that it is not Friendship is Optional, but that's the only thing that pops up when I try to find the story.
