So... Jinxy (my brother) came over Wednesday night and he wound up taking Fiance and I to Baker's Square for dinner... 
T'was good times! Then we ran back up to my parents' house so he could get some last minute stuff, and so I could try to find some formal wear to potentially go to the Grand Galloping Gala tomorrow night... Wound up finding a few things that could work... My only hope is that the shoes I brought will be acceptable... I mean... I have a pair with me that I know will work... They're just my last choice shoes... 
Oh... And I had to molest my idiot cat too... But that's a digression...
Hauled everyone back to home, then proceeded to hang out with Jinxy and chat with Sylvian until about 2am and went to bed... Of course, I wound up not sleeping well because at about 7am, my guts decided to make rebelling noises without actually DOING anything... 
So about 4-5 hours of broken sleep later, I get up, get the Tiny Terrorist dressed, and rush about doing my last minute packing while trying to rouse JInxy from his death-sleep... Finally succeeded in doing so around the time I'd wanted to leave... And then of course we had errands to run... So we didn't really start heading to the Con until the absolute latest I wanted to leave... Murgle... 
We made super good time through Sconie-land though... Of course, this may or may not have had something to do with me playing rather fast and loose with the definition of "Speed Limit", but... Y'know what? If my Cop Stealth fails in the midst of traffic, I wager I have bigger problems...
Got to Schaumburg around a quarter to 7pm, after discovering that we needed to pay around $6 in tolls. Hopefully, we can avoid that on the return trip... But if not, it's no big deal... The roads are super good and well maintained.
Anyhow... We met up with Zoljen at the hotel, got room keys, got everything important into the room, and then went across the road to the mall for Red Robin, which Zoljen had never experienced previously. 
Then there were other errands, like looking for a dress shirt for Jinxy so he might go to the GGG, getting our badges, and getting a razor for me because I was Capital-D dumb and didn't pack mine...
CON BADGE ACQUIRED!!!
Now, however, I'm going to go take a nice... Long... shower... and wash the travel stench and aches off of me... And hope that this razor doesn't die trying to cut down the old-growth forests on my legs... 
And then it's sleep tiem.
Though I do have to wonder... How are all us WonderVerse folks arranging to meet up? Because seriously... the only person I have a phone number for is Zol!

Well due to unforeseen events i'm not gonna be able to make it tomorrow(life threw me a curve ball) gonna try to figure out something for Saturday at least stay for a few hours if i can.... as for meeting up I to wonder how thats gonna work
if you're there on Saturday keep a eye out for a chump in a wheelchair with a soarin plushie

Jokes aside, I hope you all have an amazing time! I hope that I'll be able to attend a con sometime with you lot, because seriously I'd love to actually see ya all in person and thank Witch for all the tireless hours she's spent kicking my flank into gear to keep writing/editing my rambles!
