Greetings my Brony brethren!
Well, this certainly took a lot longer to get out than I expected. I just needed a long break after it took me so long to write my Legend of Everfree review.
Wow, we're already up to episode 20?! 
Five more weeks of season six and then the nervous waiting begins! 
Remember how this season was supposed to be "Explore Equestria"? Looks like we're ACTUALLY FINALLY DOING THAT! Road trip! Las Pegasus, here we come!
I don't think anybody has even thought of asking me this - "how would you rank MLP's five seasons?" That's something I often wonder myself and, now that season 6 is right next door, I decided to give this a shot. I'll give my opinion of every episode of the series so far on a scale of 1-5 and I'll finish it giving my personal Top 10.
With "Newbie Dash" coming out yesterday, I thought it'd be as good a time as any to share my view on how the episodes stack up so far.
1. "On Your Marks" - In my time in this fandom, I've learned that I'm a sucker for CMC episodes, and this one did not disappoint.
2. "Newbie Dash" - I think all the characters were very well-written in this episode (especially Rainbow and Pinkie), and it only just missed the top spot
I have to admit, when they said that a new character was gonna appear, I thought that it was Sunset... Dreams have been crushed... 
But hey I can dig this as well.
Final Thoughts:
-THOSE WINGS ARE HUGE!!!! LIKE EG CELESTIA LEGS HUGE!!!
-Cadence and Shining Armor look like they just got done with... something... taking care of the baby. Good luck you two! 
So ya all the hype about the season opener? My television provider does not run any channels that have the new episode I have to wait til it is online, don't mean to complain but Mal I want to watch it!
Okay, so after a watched this episode, I looked up what TVTropes had to say about it, and the Shout-Out section mentioned something about a similar activity called the Pinewood Derby. It mentions that the derby is done by Cub Scouts and that the derby has a bit of a bad reputation for having overcompetitive dads take over designing and making the cars. I also noticed that the episode was written by Ed Valentine, who I’m guessing is male.
If you want to avoid spoilers, don't read EQD's new article, since it tells us something very interesting -- something which some of the fanfic world may not be overly thrilled about. However, one non-spoilery thing it tells us is that Season 6 will be this spring. I'd been mentally preparing myself for another long hiatus, so this is excellent news all round -- except that it means less
As I watched and reflected on the season 6 premiere, I looked for anything that either strengthened or weakened my headcanon. So far, I was not able to find much that weakened my headcanon. However, I did find quite a bit of information that supported it.
I decided to post my thoughts of the episodes in sets of three (counting The Crystalling parts as one since they aired on the same day). Let’s jump right in:
The Crystalling parts 1 & 2:
I’ve been a StarBurst shipper since they revealed Starlight’s past. It was pretty silly that they didn’t try to write to each other, but Sunburst not being a important Magician was pretty obvious since no pony seemed to know him.
Since I live in the Eastern part of the world, watching the episode at 12 am in the morning made me go hype (as always). But enough of that, I'm here to talk about Flurry Heart. So I was part of the live chat and they made me ROFL when they kept describing her and giving her nicknames (with dark humor in it) like *demonchild *baby666 *littlesh*t and what not. Well I do find her cute but her wings bothers me the most.
Just watched and I gotta tell you. Big Mac talking like a gentleman cracked me up followed by Rainbows face when Starlight asked What's a Wonderbolt?
So, the official My Little Pony website has been updated with the Season 6 theme: "Explore Equestria". Let's see what we've got, and what / how they've screwed up this time.
I have to admit, this actually looks pretty sweet and non-vectorish like the usual.

It's time for a double feature review blog! This time I'm doing a comic AND an episode!
Comic first.
This is the moment where everyone knew this show was more than a "little kids program". Unfortunately it begins to deflate toward the ending, but still holds up. After all the changes that occurred throughout the years, this is probably still the best season.

So Season 6 is actually going to be premiering in spring. On one hand I'm happy we don't have to wait another year, but on the other I'm a little nervous that this might be rushed. I know that's a sort of irrational fear because given the stuff that's come out on it already, it's looking like they may have already started on Season 6 while Season 5 was still going. Do we know exactly when production started? No. So we don't know any of that, but what we do know is that this for sure is in
Is it fair to say that this season has been controversial? I mean, there looks to be a split: plenty of people love this season, and plenty more think it's the worst the show has to offer. Well now, that's going a bit too far. I decided to throw in my two cents on each episode to let you know what I think. Let's get to it:

I'm so happy that my favorite pony is back but its an episode involving the pony I hate more then any thing.
