My heart is beating quickly
I know not for who
Could be for him
Or her
Or even you
My heart beats faster
As they get closer
And I get closer
To them
But it is all too soon over
My heart is beating slowly now
And I know exactly why
I let the one slip
Though my fingers
And now must cry
My heart beats slower and slower
As they get further and further away
I smile and laugh
For their sake
And stop to weep at the end of the day
I spent the last 12 hours assembling and struggling with my new computer, discovering the joys of everything from poorly applied thermal paste to improperly connected memory to not-entirely-plugged-in SATA drives.
But at last, I finally live in the world of the SSD, with 32 gigabytes of RAM.
Right now, my computer is installing Windows 10 (huzzah for free OS upgrades), and while it still has my old video card in it (and likely will for several months), it is otherwise up and running.
I was starting to brainstorm my own G5 haunted house tale, and now you've gone and stolen my thunder!
...Oh well, I hadn't gotten super far with it and honestly their version is better than what little I had come up with anyway.
Back to the drawing board, then.
<Long intro detailing how Cozy Glow started attending school and now sees Sunset as her mother>
"So how was school today?" Sunset asked as she put down the dinner on the table. "Did you do anything fun?"
"Yes," Cozy smiled. "Cheerilee was sick today, so me and Silver Spoon decided to practise for the music showcase and then some other students joined in and everybody danced!"
Hello everyone! This is just a blog post to let you know that I am, in fact, still around. Also, more importantly, I am writing another story. It's just been slow-going. The simple explanation for my recent silence is just that I've been getting used to my new job. Part of that is just adjusting to a new routine, and the other part is the crushing existential angst of switching careers and wondering if I made the right decision and just need to grow into it, or if I'm just settling for
Another blog, another delay. I'm just kind of stressed right now... so I avoid writing, and try to actually do the stuff I need to do.
Sorry to leave you guys hanging. Next chapter we will look a bit more on Sombra's thoughts, affected as they are ^^ hopefully it will be up next Sunday after this one.
Friends, I am very excited to announce that I have been hired as a tutor/extracurricular activities coordinator for the LA’s Best after school program in Hollywood!
... but when I do, it's not-a-contest. Stay tuned because after over a year of writing colourful humans and Wallflower Blush, I guess it's time to reject humanity and return to horse.

After months of prodding, my friend [url=fimfiction.net/user/CrispySparrow]CrispySparrow has finally released her first story, which Horse Voice calls "an effectively chilling piece." Go read the unsettling [url=fimfiction.net/story/334239/]A Story About You today!
SHE'LL KNOW WHO SHE IS WHEN SHE FINDS IT
I’m not good at romance.
A guy once tried to choke me and then begged for sex, and that’s just the third most horrible confession I’ve gone through. A girl in my high school refused to go out with a guy unless he stabbed his own arm with three needles to show his love. One of my teachers had to go to the hospital on New Year’s because she got a champagne bottle stuck to her vagina.
The doors of the Badfic Slaughterhouse have opened once more, and six more stories now stand before their judge, jury, and potential executioner. Which will be found worthy, and which will be thrown into a grinder for your twisted amusement? Read on to find out.
In this edition of Badfic Slaughterhouse:
—Drunken poker shenanigans.
—Abel and Caine, reincarnated as astronauts.
—Sunset Shimmer gets hammered.
—Being gay makes ponies stupid.
I somehow unfollowed Silver Chord last night? If I unfollowed anyone else by accident, please tell me. I went through my text messages several times. Then I checked fimfic. I knew that I posted a couple blogs but didn't realize that a couple was actually a lot. I just checked my other social media account and I didn't even realize that I posted on there. I decided that I'm going to stop drinking. No more hooch; no more tequila; no more whiskey. I thought I was going to die
I GOT INSPIRED TO MAKE THIS CREAM COLORED BRALETTE OUT OF RIBBON AND LACE BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH ELASTIC. HOWEVER, I HAVE ENOUGH ELASTIC TO MAKE A HALF AND HALF KIND OF BRA. I REALLY HOPE IT TURNS OUT WELL. I FINISHED THE CUPS, AND I'M HALFWAY THROUGH SEWING THE BAND. THEN I HAVE TO CAREFULLY SEW THAT SHIT TOGETHER. IT WILL BE RELIEVING TO GET TO THE PART IN WHICH I PUT THE RIBBON THROUGH THE BAND.
How have you guys been? My day has been pretty awesome and sober! This morning, I woke up and went to a workshop to start my college applications. When I got home, I continued to read a book. Reading isn't always my cup of tea, but I can enjoy a good book every once in a while. Plus I feel obligated to read it since a good friend lent it to me over a year ago and I never returned it... (twilight oops I think a :twilightohshit: would be
EDITS: NorrisThePony is judging in Word Worthy's place, and the deadline is the same time, but the date is Jan. 10th, 2018.
Citation: today. Don't believe everything you read on the other 364.24 days of the year either, but this is the day that lots of places decide to remind you of that. It is, of course, misinterpreted. I think AM stated my opinion on both sides of this problem:
Some days, I just sit down and go through a bunch of stories from the Royal Guard queue in the hopes of finding something to approve for our next post, often reading many stories I would never have read otherwise, or something I have put off reading for a long time, in hopes of finding a gem. Wednesday was one of those days.
