So I've finally gotten off my rear and started properly catching up with the show. Let's see what we've got from the third and fourth episodes of Season 7!
So, another season has come and gone. Season 5 went out with a very fanficcy bang, as we see an episode that could well have been a piece of fanfiction.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t a particularly good one in some respects, while it was fairly decent in others.
The overall idea behind this episode was actually a fairly good one – Starlight Glimmer going back in time to make it so that Twilight Sparkle and her friends never got together.
The DMR takes me back to my Halo Reach days.
And if the Season 6 premiere synopses are anything to go on, these two episodes might make me melt.
I'm not one for the railgun, but I managed to pull off a 7-count killing spree with it, ending in a double kill to win the match.
The finale of Season Five starts half an hour early. In my case, that's 8 AM PT instead of 8:30 PT. Presumably this is because they want their two-part episode done so The LIttlest Pet Shop can air on time.
Anyway, thought some of you might like to know!
Also, there are rumors that it leaked early, so BEWARE SPOILERS.
EDIT: Also, A Very Minty Christmas is on this evening/afternoon, so if you are curious about G3, you might want to set your DVR.

Hey guys, now that I've finally settled into my new place, I can finally get to reviewing episodes, though at this point I'm two episodes late. We're already at episode 101, and I still haven't seen episode 100! Curse my efficient yet still time-consuming method of watching episodes while simultaneously reviewing them!
If you know what I think of Friendship Is Magic (the show), then you should remember that I neither hate it nor like it. It's harmless, but I'm not a fan of it. If I can put it into my own word, I just don't care.
While Brady continues getting acquainted with Tom Clancy's Destiny, I'm returning to the second half of Shadow of Mordor.
Plus more Halo 5.

In my 3 year anniversary blog post I said I'd make a 5 year anniversary post if I was still here, and I'm still kicking, still working my way through horse words. I don't read all too much these days, I want to but I find it hard to find fresh and half decent material fitting my tastes, but I still stumble across the occasional gem now and again. Every now and then I find a story that inflames my passion for this fandom and reminds me why I joined in the first place. I've resorted to re-reading
And it was okay i guess. It is easily one of those forgettable kind of episode .
With it's frustrating inconsistencies, continuity errors, characters that had no reason to be there (looking at you Coco), and humor that's as meh 
, this episode is kind of like tofu; it's good, but not satisfying. But on the the positive side, we got lots of nice new background ponies (been a thing this season).
