    Something in the works? Maybe?

A thestral, a siren, a zebra, a dragon, a changeling, a kirin, three unicorns, three pegasi, three earth ponies, and three alicorns all walk into a bar.

They then get kicked out because that's way too many characters with "primary/secondary protagonist" billing for one story.

    Follow-Up Clarification

    Vagueposting aside, here's what's up:

I'm not going to worry about all my stories at once, that way leads disaster as has been proven time and again already. Still want to try to do something with Of Responsibility, The Atlantis Scenario, Contrast, etc; but not yet.

    [Snippet] The Ponyville Numbers Station

Sunset Shimmer set about unpacking her things. Though still reluctant toward the idea of staying in Ponyville long-term, she was at least going to make sure she was comfortable here during her visit. After a solid couple hours of work, the previously-bland master bedroom had been transformed into something far more cozy. The bed was made, her spellbooks and theory texts placed snugly on a

CGL's Season 7 Episode Plot Guessing · 4:47am Feb 23rd, 2018

Given that I'm in the unique position of having almost an entire season ahead of me that I haven't watched, I thought it would be funny to look at the titles of the episodes, and try to extrapolate an entire premise from just that. Let's see how painful the result turns out, shall we? It'll be funny to see how off the mark I am once I see the actual episodes.

---

A Flurry Of Emotions: Flurry Heart prematurely enters puberty and accidentally destroys the entire Crystal Empire during a particularly hormonal mood swing.
Rock Solid Friendship: The Diamond Dogs and the Cockatrice return from Season 1, plotting their revenge!
Fluttershy Leans In: Fluttershy is elected president of the Ponyville Vetrinarian's Council (PVC) against her will, and has to manage the complex politics among the other council members. Heart attacks may also be involved.
Forever Filly: A crossover event with Filly Funtasia. Twilight Sparkle attends the Funtasia Magic Academy and helps free the show from Development Hell.
Parental Glideance: Rainbow Dash feels like her radicalness has been too low lately, and meets with her parents to ask how to fix that. Eighties references abound.
Hard To Say Anything: Big Mac and Marble Pie have a 'being quiet' competition that gets hilariously out-of-hoof and leads Twilight into thinking she accidentally cast a massive silencing spell on all of Ponyville.
Honest Apple: A sequel to Where The Apple Lies, as Applejack struggles to adjust to her new policy of honesty and accidentally offends everyone by going too far in the other direction.
A Royal Problem: AN ACTUAL CELESTIA EPISODE? Hahaha NOPE, just Twilight having asinine issues with her princesshood or something.
Not Asking For Trouble: Troubleshoes arrives at Sweet Apple Acres, and has to explain to the Apples how the peace between the Buffalo Tribes and Appleoosa broke down again, and the role he played in it all falling apart.
Discordant Harmony: Discord parodies the plot of his own debut episodes, with the roles of himself and the Mane 6 reversed.
The Perfect Pear: The one-sided rivalry Golden Harvest thinks she has with the Apples heats up when a new fruit-based farmer moves in to Ponyville.
Fame And Misfortune: A pair of smooth criminals rob Carousel Boutique's Manehattan branch, and it's up to detective Rarity and her lovely assistant Coco to stop them!
Triple Threat: The CMC run into evil counterparts of themselves who are bent on undermining ponies' understanding and connection with their Cutie Marks.
Campfire Tales: AJ, Dash, Rarity, and the CMC go on another camping trip. Twilight, Fluttershy, Spike, and Pinkie, feeling left out, decide to go on their own camping trip, and the two groups accidentally spook one another without realizing who it is.
To Change A Changeling: Some sort of terrible, hackneyed Chrysalis redemption plot featuring lots of Luna and lots of politics nobody cares about. Possibly an OC or two to give the ground-eye-perspective for what it's like for the changelings. You know how it goes.
Daring Done?: Daring Do decides to retire. Rainbow Dash freaks the fuck out over this, and dragging Twilight with, seeks to convince the author-adventurer to keep going.
It Isn't The Mane Thing About You: Scootaloo changes her manestyle, but decides she hates it. Sweetie Belle, however, loves it, and refuses to let Scootaloo return to normal. Applebloom is left to mediate this particularly ridiculous argument.
A Health Of Information: Starlight, after mastering a few medical charms, decides to volunteer at the Ponyville Hospital, only to realize how out of her depth she is when a particularly silly/nasty plague rolls through.
Marks And Recreation: The CMC help Timber Spruce and Gloriosa Daisy, a pair of city ponies, discover their calling as Park Rangers.
Once Upon A Zepplin: En-route to a well-deserved vacation at a distant tropical island, the Mane 6 encounter a strange turbulence and must travel into an old storybook to find the cause.
Secrets And Pies: Pinkie Pie's birthday rolls around again, and seeking to avoid a repeat of the "Party Of One" incident, the other five are overly open and upfront with Pinkie, leading her to become suspicious anyway.
Uncommon Bond: Starlight introduces Trixie to Sunburst. Misunderstandings ensue, leading all three to become jealous of the other two's extremely close bond. It probably ends in a threesome or something.
Shadow Play, Part 1 and 2: The Pony Of Shadows returns and is an actual villain, seeking to turn Luna back into Nightmare Moon or something. Lore ensues.

You know, that idea for Discordant Harmony would make a terrific episode. Discord could be telling the CMCs the tale of how he first met the gals, from his own unique perspective.

Ooh, yeah!
The one I'm most partial to is the Campfire Tales idea. Pretty sure it's off the mark, but it seems to me like it could be a fun fanfic plot.

Colt, I LOVE the sound of some of these! :pinkiehappy:Even if they are not what 'really' happened, they sound like some fun and hilarious concepts for a fanfiction! Almost tempted to write one based on one (not sure which) but already have enough on my plate finishing my next chapter. (That plus I am not one to steal ideas...) But as such, if you don't plan on writing them, I hope somepony else does as I want to 'see' these 'episodes' now!

"Amazing. Every word you just said was wrong." -- Isaac Asimov.

I hope you'll be doing reaction blogs in which you compare and contrast the actual episode to your expectations here. :)

(Actually, one of your guesses was pretty close to accurate. Won't tell you which one, of course.)

Thanks! As much as I'd love to write some of them, I don't see it happening anytime soon, so feel free to use these if you want!

Yep, definitely! I usually do short reviews of episodes on this blog, so I'll be sure to do a bit of comparison with my own ideas.

(I'm going to go ahead and guess it's Forever Filly. Obviously. :derpytongue2:)

Having seen the season, I'm not going to say anything about the actual episodes and just offer opinions on a couple of the guesses.

Parental Glideance: Rainbow Dash feels like her radicalness has been too low lately, and meets with her parents to ask how to fix that. Eighties references abound.

I seem to be encountering Eighties references a lot lately... which is weird, because most of them I really shouldn't be old enough to recognize. (Well, I'm mostly seeing them because of a book I found recently, but still). Sounds fun!

Hard To Say Anything: Big Mac and Marble Pie have a 'being quiet' competition that gets hilariously out-of-hoof and leads Twilight into thinking she accidentally cast a massive silencing spell on all of Ponyville.

I want this to be a fanfic. I love it, and it's wonderful, and I'm not clever enough to write it yet.

There are some truly fantastic ideas here. Also a few synopses that come hilariously close to the actual episodes. I look forward to seeing you find out which ones those are.

Oh boy, you are gonna have some major disappointments and some major surprises. :V

It's less surprising how much you got wrong as how many times you guess a few details right.

4803736
I agree with that. Was one of my favorite of the ideas. Alas, I feel I am in the same boat and not good enough yet for such a masterpiece.
4803678
I might just do that then, though not for awhile likely.

Might be a case of the book giving you enough information to recognize them now. It's kind of funny; ever since I got into Touhou, I've been seeing it everywhere, and realizing I saw it everywhere even beforehand - just didn't realize that was what it was at the time.
