It's my next proper novel length story, first ten chapters dropped today, the next few over the next few days. Then a little bit longer after that as we get into the unwritten parts, but hey, that's how Moonfic worked out too, yeah? This one's closer to the end at least.

I often make references to the idea that writing is a constant quest for self-improvement. It requires self-reflection and self-critique. But there is a limit to this. After a certain point, self-reflection and self-critique always suffer from a lack of perspective. There's a reason you get reviewed annually at most jobs.

All right. I'm mostly off the drugs*, and I got boxed**, so apparently my brain is working fine. I'm trying to work on PoS today -- Lyra and Bean's conversation is incredibly hard to write, but I'm feeling determined. 
If that absolutely fails, I've got another Flattie Belle story started***, and I wrote the hook for my Jinglemas story yesterday.
Yah. Good times. I'll have to go back to drawing for money soon, but for right now: words.
Act III of Renaissance is 2/3rds(Probably more like 2/4ths) of the way done now, I finished the second chapter of it early this morning. I'm pretty excited thinking about how interesting you'll all find it, considering the lore and themes of this Act~
Besides on Discord or here in Fimfiction. Because every time I come to Discord or Fimfiction, it's usually for the same reason: to promote my stuff and selfishly bother others/disregard others' stuff without taking the time to think for my self or others' content.

The story name was inspired by a very pretty, very sad Leonard Cohen song. The story has nothing to do with it, though. Except for both sort of being about marriage, I guess? Just. Leonard and I had totally different experiences with marriage.
So, I was lying in bed tonight, and I realized something about Honkai: Star Rail, the latest gambling simulator video game from the makers of Genshin Impact.
This isn't the first time.
Years ago, someone told me that there was a show called The Good Place, and it was about someone who went to Heaven (i.e. the Good Place) by accident.
