In the woods; its a tree. In your room; its your reflection in the window. Its always there, and its exactly where it should be. i guess there would be a intent difference between saying "nothing ever happened" and "everything never happened" whereas the first implied the events didn't happen, the second implies that at one point, they had happened; but if one were to check now, the events would have apparently never existed. Apologies for not checking in earlier as I promised. To make a long story short, the surgery happened on time and went off without a hitch; I was sent home a few hours later with a stack of gauze and medical tape to catch the seemingly endless drainage.
