I just got one thing to say to this:
DT starts spouting off her usually bitch rant but apprently pushes ALL THE WRONG BUTTONS:
I just got one thing to say to this:
The CMC weren't even originally going to be in the show, they were supposed to star in their own spin-off series per Lauren Faust's wishes, but Hasbro shot the idea down in favor of the CMC appearing in the show. Now, eight seasons (soon going on to nine) later that decision seems to have been a wise one. In fact, I'd say the CMC have for the most part gotten off better compared to the mane six and Spike, though there has definitely been an issue of the show not knowing what exactly it wants to
I won't lie, I'm a bit disappointed in what marks the CMC got in "Crusaders of the Lost Mark".
I know it's a silly thing to have wanted, but I was hoping for those G3 inspired marks that they got in early advertising.
Ironically, I don't think the reasoning behind their marks would have been any different. Those G3 marks looked like Cutie Marks in friendship (they are all hearts, after all).
Changelings. Nestenes. Dubians. Even (to an extent) our own future selves. What do they all have in common? Answer: They're all doppelgangers. Now, the Webster's Dictionary defines "doppelganger" as this: "a ghostly counterpart of a living person"
...but my own personal "internal" dictionary defines it as this: "any being that takes the physical form of another, but has different personality traits"
Yes that little story I started a month ago is updated. After a long and torturous writers block I finally have continued the story set to be finished last week. This next chapter sees costume changes, crazy antics, amazing scooter skills, and one amazing storm.
I hope you enjoy watermelons!
I was wondering, what do you guys think of the story so far? I know I know, this may seem like a bad journal but its not I assure you. Its simply an innocent question I'm asking you guys. The story was started sometime in... what... 2014? I think it was, and so far I've made pretty good progress on it, despite my updating being slow as all heck, which I INTEND ON FIXING.
Anywho, what do you think of it so far?
And also, this is something I might test out...
OKAY! So the comments I've gotten so far have been interesting, but I'm honestly curious now. Who knows this could actually give me some thoughts on how to include the CMC into following chapters later. What do you guys think of Rainbow Dash's actions. When I was writing this chapter I made sure to do my best to make it look like things Dash would do without making it seem over dramatic or extreme. Also, Twilight slap. I have to say, that was the number one thing I had my focus on when writing
Now that "The Last Crusade" has aired here in the U.S., I think I can officially make this list without spoiling anything truly major. Now that we've FINALLY gotten to see Scootaloo's parents (and her aunts), this list had to be made. Much like the Mane Seven Families list, this one is accounting for not just how good they are as characters but also good they are as actual parents/family. There aren't as many to include here, but I think you'll be surprised by some of the rankings, which
Applebloom: "So Shepherd, what's your cutie mark?"
Shepherd: "Huh? I don't have one."
CMCs: GASP!
Applebloom: "Ya mean... ya don't have one?"
Scootaloo: "At all?!"
Sweetie Belle: "Not even a little one?"
Shepherd: "Nope. Humans don't have cutie marks. Never have."
Applebloom: "So that means..."
CMCs: "YER A CUTIE MARK CRUSADER!"
Shepherd: "No I'm not. I don't want a cutie mark, girls."
Applebloom: "Wha... You don't?!"
Shepherd: "Nope."

The first post-marked CMC episode airs tomorrow, and it features Bulk Biceps?
Okay, ... Yeah!
I really hope that Bulk turns out to be Scoot's big brother. Actually I'll take anything on Pegasi families this season. Over the years they've gotten the short end of the lead as it were.
Sir Barton (One Old Racehorse)
May I offer you a triple shot of plushies in these trying times? Because I have three of 'em coming at you today:
Applebloom is made from yellow, scarlet, and some sort of violently pink whose name I have forgotten minky.
Sweetie Belle is made from white (snow), dusty rose, and custom dyed minky.
The Main 5 believe Sunset and three girls' little sisters didn't have anything to do with it. A couple of people had a really bad time with Sunset. They hacked people's phones and planed an ambushed. They also framed 2 of Sunset's friends.
Had a thought that i felt a desire to share for anyone out there to maybe think about trying out, preferably someone with more skill with words then me
A cmc monsters story, of a similar vein to undead bug robot crusaders but with a little bit of a different twist to them
I'm going to begin running a campaign of Unknown Ponies: Failure is Awesome soon, over on Roll20. The LFP listing for the campaign is here. That page includes a brief overview of the campaign's setting, as well as a couple links with system information.
Yesterday was the first session of my Unknown Ponies: Failure is Awesome campaign, "Cutie Mark Crusaders Troop #185." The session revolved around getting one of the players' parents to sign a permission slip to go on a trip with his fellow Crusaders over spring break.
