Yesterday was the first session of my Unknown Ponies: Failure is Awesome campaign, "Cutie Mark Crusaders Troop #185." The session revolved around getting one of the players' parents to sign a permission slip to go on a trip with his fellow Crusaders over spring break.
The group had a great synergy going, with a lot of roleplay without need to put a fishhook in their mouths and guide them. They concocted a fiendish plan -- puppy-dog eyes -- to sway Moon Dancer's parents that he should be allowed to go on the trip.
One of the players sketched the attempt:

From left to right, we've got:
Shady Simile (unicorn)
Azure Hex (unicorn)
Moon Dancer (kelpie)
Torchlight (earth pony)
Gin Gear (pegasus)
Red Robin (pegasus)
Red Robin wanted to use the art to get a shift on her Charm roll, but Gin Gear convinced Dancer's dad to sign the permission slip before Robin got a chance. The picture certainly surprised me, though!
Next week: the Crusaders head to Zebrica on an airship! We go!
