TL;DR I watched all of Steven Universe and the main character reminds me of all the opportunities for growth that Spike has not had.

A couple friends of mine have been introducing me to Steven Universe.
It's pretty good.
My favorite Gem so far?
Although she did get a couple points off when she said she didn't like eating.
We wrapped up Season 5 earlier this week, and tonight we got to the movie.
And hot dayum does this girl give Tempest a run for her "tragic villain" money. Like, seriously.
There's an audio clip circulating around YouTube that is from an upcoming episode of Steven Universe Future. Steven struggles to talk about his feelings to Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl. Apparently, he crushed the van with Greg in it and denies having an outburst when he's clearly having one. He needed some personal space, but the Gems know that something's wrong. He's losing control of his anger and they tried to calm him down, but to no avail. I'm just afraid that he would turn into a corrupted
Holy hell, I am in love with Steven Universe after that episode. Hot diggity damn, that hit all the right notes for me. It was funny, hopeful, dark, deep, and, perhaps most importantly, it introduced lore.
Sorry for gushing, just wanted to get that off my chest.
Steven Spielberg was recently asked what he felt would happen to the superhero genre, and he had this to say:
I've heard a lot of buzz about this show, but I haven't really looked into it, mostly because it didn't seem like the sort of thing that would interest me. However, after I saw this, I must admit that my interest has been piqued:
I just wanted to take a few minutes to talk about 2 of the clips from the Steven Universe crew at Comic Con. I, personally did not attend, but watched the clips revealed online.
Imagine it. The unthinkable horror has happened: Steven King takes over writing Equestria Girls. It goes...actually pretty much the same, just more disturbing and with higher stakes. Yes, really. Hear me out here.

I'm still doing stuff, but a lot of my writing energy has been on original stuff (non-pony stuff, scary, huh?).
Anyway, so ya know, I'll be going off to BronyCon. If you're going to be out in Baltimar- I mean, Baltimore, let me know. We can hang and do stuffs.
Also, I have an Instagram now. Well, rather I have a cosplay Instagram, Little Ursa Cosplay.

In an interview with CBR, Sugar has confirmed that Steven never forgave the Diamonds. With all the events that happened before and during the series, I truly can't blame him for feeling that way. You can see the discomfort in his face during his interaction with them in the movie and Homeworld Bound.
