First animation made with FireAlpaca's animation feature · 9:12pm Nov 14th, 2015
So...yeah...
So...yeah...
This is an interesting subject, no?
This isn't an MLP-related post, but it occurs to me that lots of people are gushing over things like Steven Universe and RWBY, but when did you last see anyone do a blind commentary on a European cartoon? We have been known to make the odd bit of animation on this side of the Atlantic! Buc Reviewer did some good (but non-blind) commentaries on The Animals of Farthing Wood several
I would watch every single goddamn episode of this if it was real.
Holy hell. This is the first time I've ever recommended an anime.
But why was this never logged in the mainstream?
Warning: Very dark, some gore, and slight sexual themes.
I finished the anime series Kill La Kill and oh my gosh there was so much feels. Especially in the 24 (technically the last episode but there was a special episode too) episode, man I was crying so much it was just so sad.
I love this song from Kill La Kill
That moment when you finish an anime series and you feel that there's something missing in your life now. (So true)
I’ve posted a personal story on my Particle Gadgeteering blog, “3D Dreams: A Tale of a Science Communication Adventure with the Welsh Animation Industry, which didn’t happen”. This might interest anyone curious about animation production. This is also a sort-of prequel to my involvement with Fimfiction as it got me into animations and thinking about ways to mix fiction and science.
Hello and welcome to my second Fandom Music Friday! Today's entry is Snowdrop's Lullaby by SFS Animation, formerly Silly Filly Studios. Recent changes to YouTube have caused SFS to create a second account on vid.me. Already, they have uploaded Snowdrop and Fall of the Crystal Empire at the time of this blog post. It is my understanding that they are no longer doing pony animations, but
Didn't know if any of y'all were interested, but I wrote a little mini-fic for an animatic my friend Hatter's Lye made. It's on derpibooru under his name!
Sadly, I can't post a link because it's delightfully NSFW. I can say, however, say that it features Moondancer and Fleur De Lis. Go check it out if you're interested!
To clarify, it isn't about micro or mini horses, it's simply a very short story
I just read a summary of the new SAO movie yet to release in the US.
I must say...
Pretty good job.
Nice action, a plot twist I did not see coming, and a nice ending.
So, yeah.
Ciao!
IN WHICH THUMBS-UPS HAPPEN
Sorry I haven't posted anything since Christmas. It's tough to get back into the writing when you've had to be away from it for a bit. I still have a half-completed MBT chapter that I might finish tomorrow if I don't get distracted by anime again.
Seriously, who thought that it was a good idea to put Sony's headquarters in california of all places. The only place worse than that would have been germony, because then no wolfinstine or call of duty would ever come out. So the california based headquarters is putting their political views on our anime based games. Even though I don't play a lot of the games that are being systamatically slaughtered by these guys, and gals, I have in the past gotten real kicks out of things like the
Grading Scale:
A (fantastic episode)
A- (an excellent episode with at least one flaw)
B+ (a great episode with a couple of flaws)
So I was introduced to this story by Hap and someone felt like this read like Full Life Consequences and I was without a doubt inspired and decided to make this video.
I know that the "Steamed Hams" meme from The Simpsons has gone past its prime now, but I still want to share this, because I am just that impressed.
This guy here... did a "Re-Animated" version of the entire sequence with Skinner and Chalmers, and changed animation/cartoon styles every time the camera changed angles.
And he did it all by himself. Took him the better part of four years to put together. Talk about dedication to a goal.
Hopefully, it would have been worth the wait. I announced the series in February and here we are now a month and 16 days later!
I know I said it was gonna be longer but Blender 2.8 was starting to lag and it just came to my recent attention that a teaser trailer should be short.
Stay tuned for more info!
I've watched a lot of anime. But it was only recently that I got a MyAnimeList account. And trying to dig through my memories for all the anime I've ever watched was an interesting mental dredge.
