    This looks interesting - ANTEDILUVIAN

A short animated film about the dinosaurs, done to celebrate the 200th anniversary of paleontology?

Featuring animation of the Victorian era imaginings of the "terrible lizards" like Megalosaurus, Iguanodon, and so on?

This has my curiosity piqued, for sure. :pinkiehappy:

Hello all. I wanted to do a little promotion of a crossover story with a wild premise, but a great execution.

    Oppenheimer Ending plus Godzilla (1954)

There've been a number of jokes, or video edits, tying in Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer with Takashi Yamazaki's Godzilla Minus One. Though this particular mashup is probably my favorite, for reaching all the way back to the original 1954 movie.

This Amazes Me · 5:02pm Mar 11th, 2022

I know that the "Steamed Hams" meme from The Simpsons has gone past its prime now, but I still want to share this, because I am just that impressed.

This guy here... did a "Re-Animated" version of the entire sequence with Skinner and Chalmers, and changed animation/cartoon styles every time the camera changed angles. :rainbowderp:

And he did it all by himself. Took him the better part of four years to put together. Talk about dedication to a goal.

(Watch the video with closed captions on. It helps demonstrate what cartoon the video is mimicking at each section.)

It's nice when the Internet is able to surprise me, in a *good* way. :yay:

I may not be interested in Simpsons, but that is damn impressive.

I know, right? I have little interest in watching the series itself (though I do love watching small scenes from it on YouTube) but holy shit, give this man an award!

One thing that particularly impresses me is that the guy went to the trouble of not just animating the Hanna-Barbera art style, but doing it in the vein of four specific animators for that studio. That is attention to detail!
