Hey all, just wanted to give a proper shout out to Skijirama for doing an excellent reading of one of my more recent buggo stories. Please give it a listen! He puts a lot of effort into voice effects and such, and does fanfic readings fairly regularly.

Story concept: it's a dystopian future where pollution has made rain flammable and fire is illegal. The story opens with the protagonist buying a lighter on the black market.

What do they do with that lighter?

I do not understand why people publish their fan fiction on Internet forums. There are a lot of web sites, some are better, some are worse, but they are better than forums. Go to Fimfiction if you write about ponies; go to archiveofourown.org or fanfiction.net if you write about something else.

So, I've been using Word to type out the fic. So, I've only been able to work on the fic while I'm at work, with one exception. I've been using my phone to remote access my computer and work on the fic. The draw back is that it drains my battery and my data. So, I can only do it sparingly. So, I decided to just use Google Doc and get the app for my phone. Hopefully, I can work on the fic more with that while I'm at work. It'll also help for when I get an editor...if I get one. I have the news about my new big fanfic for you. It's going good. I've already come up with the plan and wrote the first few chapters. I'll begin uploading them in a few months as there are still some stuff that may need correction. For example, I found some minor plothole today that required me to rewrite parts of the previous chapter.
But that only means the end-result would be more refined.

Well, the Gallus longfic project has another setback. The artist I commissioned the cover art for has backed down from the work, and refunded me for the commission. It's a shame since I really liked the artist's stuff, but they had personal issues and wanted to focus more on their own projects.
