Only two days more until "The Sky is Gone: Acceptance" releases here on FIMFiction.net! Part 3 of "The Sky is Gone" is already up on my Patreon account, but on Friday, it will be your turn to see what happens after the startling conclusion of "The Sky is Gone: Epiphany".
"The Sky is Gone: Acceptance" has resumed releases on my Patreon today. And it will return here on FIMFiction.net in 10 days. It was supposed to return much earlier, however.
I hate to do this, but, "The Sky is Gone" will go on a small, two day release break for the holidays, both here and on my Patreon. I still wanted to update" The Sky is Gone" on the Hearth's Warming holidays, because I relaunched my Patreon account only a few days ago and have only just started with the new reward tier, but I am suddenly feeling the last four days.
Yes, you see that right, this is the new side story to Journey To Hearth's Warming. This one involves what happening to everypony else while Twilight and Starlight are trapped in the past. This story covers 17 months of hell that the main six, and several ponies suffer through as they tried to find out what happened to Twilight and Starlight.
Hope you had fun with those crossovers. Some of those sounded like they hurt.
...oh, fuck me. Fuck me with a belt sander. I just looked at the link for your new one. It's Mykan. It's Starfleet.
Last week's shuffle is donezo. Congrats.
This time around, we've got this year's stocking stuffer shuffle, which is ALSO an obscure crossover shuffle! Hoooooooo boy, the pain will be exquisite!
On Tuesday, Volume 1 of the first, official, english manga for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic got released! I have this volume pre-ordered for months now, ever since Equestria Daily reported about it last year. Unfortunately, I still have to wait for quite some time until I can read it, because Amazon UK only gets it on July 1st for whatever reason (and because I didn't ask my local comic shop if they can order it, because I'm only used to buy the official comics there, so I forgot that
The crossover riff is squared away. Go you.
Now you've gotta contend with Mykan again. Here's more Starpops.
..... there is a problem with my multi-chapter fic for Tempest Shadow now.
When I saw the movie in October, I quickly developed a few theories about Tempest Shadow, based on some observations from the movie. One was that Tempest Shadow already came to the Storm King when she was still a filly, that the Storm King raised her and trained her to become the super soldier of his army, because he saw the potential in her.
It's time to do this again..... This time also here on FIMFiction.net, instead of just on Deviantart, to follow-up on my sort-of retrospective I wrote here last year.
Here is a little update for all of you who wait for my stories about Silverstream and/or updates of my long story for Tempest Shadow, "A Storm on the Horizon of the Arcane World".
Can you imagine? Generation 5 has not even started yet and there is already a controversy about its premise in the fandom.
You kicked ASS on the last one. And I'm surprised by how many of you stuck it out even through Felix Dawn and Mykan. I know I say it a lot, but you guys are fucking TROOPERS when you wanna be.
Remember how I said that I have to read my fanfictions again to find out what I'm doing wrote lately, a short time ago?
I did this now and could figure out where I'm suddenly lacking.
To make it short, my descriptions have become less detailed and lengthy and my choice of words less creative, to an amount where some of my latest fics read boring in some parts.
So, here we are, the blog entry about "My Little Pony: Guardians of Crystal Growth" that I promised four days ago!
I am going to talk a bit about the writing process, why I decided to write it and, most importantly, when I will continue it.
I am back. A lot of you, especially my new followers I got in the last couple days (thank you for joining me here despite the inactivity!) are probably thinking I am dead and that I became a victim of the end of the show. That is not the case and I am now back and ready to tackle more writing than ever.
Joe Haldeman served a tour of duty in the Vietnam War, before he became well known as a science fiction writer.
I'm vacillating between blogging this story as providing examples partway through of the kind of dark humor, even graveyard humor, that sometimes shows up as a coping mechanism in war...
See what I did there? Because it's a shuffle you're doing, and it's Sonic stories, and Sonic Shuffle was a game for the Dreamcast...
Shut up, it was clever.
Anyway, on the subject of Sonic, obviously the last riff was the legendary "Sonic.EXE." Y'all went NUTS when you found out, and I'd say it was worth it. Here's the finished doc.
It's late. I know. It's 1:30 in the fucking morning AND we're off schedule. Hush.
So here's last week's. Wheeeeeee.
This week's is another crossover shuffle. That tells you all you need to know right there. Have fun.
