Three Rarity episodes three weeks in a row, eh? Okey dokey. First, liking the continuity with Rainbow Dash and the Wonderbolt Reserves, it's like the writers heard me. No, I don't care if animation lead time means they had the episode in the can before my review. Also I appreciate they included Sassy and the new boutique at the start, continuity is good. And throughout the episode Rainbow is so friggin' adorable. The film noir was a lot of fun and it was cool that some guards actually played a
Let me be clear off the bat - I am completely apathetic towards Coco Pommel. I don't dislike her, but in a season that brought us Cheese Sandwich, Maud, Tirek, and the Mane-iac, Coco doesn't stand out to me. Sure she was kinda adorable, but see also; most other cast members. That said, how was this episode?
So, now that they have their butt tattoos, they don't know what to do with themselves. Oh the irony of a hollow victory...

Now THIS is what the pony movie should have been.
If I’d known I was in for this, I’d have just stayed home and watched these episodes today.
MLP is at its dullest when you can call the ending less than halfway through the episode, and at its worst when the plot hinges on a character acting like an idiot... this is one of those episodes. So I guess it's a testament to skill that this episode avoids being awful. It's just bland and boring, yet not forgettable.
I liked this episode. It started slow, and Twilight's clunky dialogue when everypony was getting off the train put me off a bit, but everything else... fantastic!

This week, we learn that the show runners are completely out of ideas. Also, another EQG short review, because yes.
Another Season 2 refugee, right down to The Stare coming back. Episode was meh, Meadowbrook is a thing from S5's premiere but might as well being entirely different because the backstory given here says nothing of her magic relics. And what we do get - a southern swamp witch doctor - is underwhelming.
Flutterbitch returns for vengeance.
