On Your Marks S6E4 Review · 4:12pm Apr 9th, 2016
So, now that they have their butt tattoos, they don't know what to do with themselves. Oh the irony of a hollow victory...
I did like the irony that they've spent so much time trying to get their cutie marks to find out what they're good at, that they haven't really given much thought to what they like doing. Besides that, boredom. I know very well how frustrating it can be to have nothing to do and look for something to focus on to pass the time.
It was cool seeing Sweetie Belle sing again. The inability of the three to sing properly reminded me of Rainbow Rocks and Twilight, and it makes sense the same way - there's a difference between being able to carry a tune when the singing mood strikes you, and knowing how to read and follow sheet music. Also Scootaloo bungie jumping is funny.
The second half of the episode felt a bit disconnected, like this should have been either the focus of the episode or its own episode. But it was still fun. I wouldn't mind seeing Apple Bloom try dancing more in the future, and the colt character was interesting. And the audience gave us a ton of cameos.
Wasn't an awesome episode, but it was solid. A bit predictable and not as funny or deep, but it was okay. There's been far worse episodes.
I loved it! And the song
That song was magical
IMHO this was the first GOOD episode of season six.
3858881 Let's agree to disagree on how wrong you are.

3858836 I actually missed the song, my lunch was ready and I had to go get it.
Looks like we've got our first new canon ship of the season (Starburst doesn't count, since people were shipping that since the end of Season 5).
