Review #107 - Areas of Expertise, Rise of the Solar Wind · 4:57am May 21st, 2017

Instead of me being a lazy potato, think of this last week as unscheduled breaks. Anyway, time to review some stories that I don't even remember reading!

Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion

4X game. Base game only. Remember it being pretty, but very, very dull myself when I got to play my brother's copy, but a lot of other people seem to love this one, so use your own judgement.

I think I'm making progress on the story now. I've actually got an idea for what happens next: the final length of track on this stretch of railroad. And while I'm at it, that gets me to thinking: there's a lot of stuff I didn't cover in The Early Life of Blueblood, stuff like Blueblood at prom, Cadance's friends coming to meet her at Canterlot, Blueblood's career. Now granted, these ideas came after I tried to get one chapter a month out of the story and I was trying to go in order.

...yeah, not really a calendar, but I'm Catholic and it's my blog. Also, I think Catholicism needs more seasons. You've got Easter in the Spring and Christmas in the Winter, plus Lent and Advent before both of those, and the three-day 'season' of Triduum. We've got the feast day of Saints Peter and Paul, the founders of the Catholic Church coming up, seems like the perfect place to have an extra season. Also, I personally think that the different divisions of Ordinary Time should have

Exciting news! Well...for me at least. · 10:31am Feb 19th, 2016

My fiction, 'Dancing with myself', now has a dramatic reading on Youtube!

I'm just too edgy with these dank memes. :trollestia:

Anyway, it had some awesome people working on the project, contributions of voice actors and music were made in putting this together.
And I only found out today. :rainbowlaugh:
It's quite a novel and overwhelming experience.

"It would seem the universe does not like its peas mixed with its porridge." · 6:17pm Jun 11th, 2015

I've mentioned it numerous times already, but for those of you who never actually read these things: my good friend Danger Beans, who acted as my pre-reader and brainstorming assistant for Twilight's Inferno, has begun work on a prequel to the story called Dismay. I am acting as adviser for him in much the way he helped me, and I'm enjoying the work so far. The great news?

I Watched The Sun Rise At Midnight · 8:56am Nov 16th, 2022

I watched the sun rise at midnight.

I watched an impossible dawn.

I watched an explosion so far away it took half a minute for me to hear it and it still rattled my bones.

I watched as, for the first time, humanity reached a milestone on a quest to live on other worlds.
