Blog Entry: Monday, Ordinary Time 25, 2017(A) · 8:11am Jun 26th, 2017
...yeah, not really a calendar, but I'm Catholic and it's my blog. Also, I think Catholicism needs more seasons. You've got Easter in the Spring and Christmas in the Winter, plus Lent and Advent before both of those, and the three-day 'season' of Triduum. We've got the feast day of Saints Peter and Paul, the founders of the Catholic Church coming up, seems like the perfect place to have an extra season. Also, I personally think that the different divisions of Ordinary Time should have different names.
So, regarding the story, I've done a little more work, mostly being occupied with the cybersecurity camp, which is now over (thank goodness, because I've come to loathe teenagers like I did in high school). Thus, now I can put more effort into the story. Provided nothing storywise changes, I should aim to have it finished by the end of the week.
Gamewise, I've started playing The Elder Scrolls Oblivion. It's a fun game, though I wish it would stop crashing all the bloody time. Seriously, I started it Friday, it's crashed three times already. I'm also making progress on Runescape, mainly boosting my fishing xp so I can catch better food to cook so I can have a better chance of beating this quest I'm stuck on. Unrelated fun fact related to fish: lutefisk is only a few hours preparation away from being soap. It is seriously prepared the same way. In case you needed a reason to think Scandinavia was weird (beyond their recent need to re-establish the legal boundaries between man and animal*).
On a different note, show of hands, who's old enough to remember this playing in theaters?
Apparently the group (Animusic) has a website that's still up and they're still selling their music and stuff.
Also, to all Americans, the year's major event, the solar eclipse, is coming. I've ordered my eclipse goggles already. As a warning, you want to make sure that the glasses are rated for eclipses: only a few companies do this. I got mine from Rainbow Symphony: according to NASA, they're good.
So, yeah, that's what I got this week. See you next week.
*...no, really. Look it up.
How did Pogo Sticks get into theaters?

I only saw it once and I'm not really sure. Apparently it was used to show off how powerful a computer was, so that could've had something to do with it. Alternatively, the theater could've just decided to show it to entertain the audience.
