Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion
4X game. Base game only. Remember it being pretty, but very, very dull myself when I got to play my brother's copy, but a lot of other people seem to love this one, so use your own judgement.
GTA inspired top-down battle royal game. Not really my type of game, but seems like it's a pretty original take on the genera.
This one's on UPlay, not Steam, FYI. Pretty famous city-builder series otherwise.

Well thanks for the recommendations, and the Anno series is indeed excellent. Regrettably, it is currently owned by Ubisoft, and I refuse to touch anything that comes with that dumpster fire they call "Uplay."

Got a soft-spot for Ubisoft games myself, even if I'll freely admit many, many games & design choices of theirs have made me face-palm over the years too.
Bit hard for me to stay angry at the dudes/dudettes that made Sands of Time, Splinter Cell and Beyond Good & Evil... but at the same time, they're also the same dudes/dudettes that made a store that crashes near every time they release a new game, so... Yeah. Bit uneven on the quality front, to put it mildly.
