there are rough days coming to my country (venezuela), because of that I have resigned to have hope on getting my internet service back in at least two weeks.. or a month... or worse... good celestia have mercy of my soul.
To start with, this has been the longest pause in my writing since then late 90s, and it’s more frustrating than anything else. I feel like I can’t make any forward progress on any ideas, even though I’ve been starting to get more of them of late. I need to do something to change that, but it’s not as easy as just wanting to do something. Motivation and Action turns out to be quite different things to muster.
Joints feel really sore, but especially knees.
Also today was one of those days when I seem hypersensitive to sound. Had two researchers in my office and I don't know if they were talking at unreasonable levels of volume or if my brain was just processing it that way, but it was so difficult to cope with. And when people slammed doors it felt like a bomb going off in my head.
Just letting you all know that I’m in the middle of an unavoidable stint of jury duty, hence my inactivity this morning. Imanaged to accidentally volunteer to go back tomorrow*, so I’ll likely be going dark for a fair stretch then as well, and possibly the rest of the week as well. I've just received word that the person who's been harassing me for a year or so has plead guilty and will no longer be allowed to use a computer. Again, I'm sorry if any of you happened to be caught in the struggle, and know that all this drama is now officially over.

With heavy heart I have to report the passing of a Racing Icon and genuine Friendship Ambassador Subzero, at the age of 32.
Possibly the most famous retired racehorse in Australia, Subzero, or 'Subbie' as he was commonly known by friends and industry members was eased from this mortal coil as his body began to succumb to age and organ failure on Aug. 29, 2020.
Right. So- My job decided to close down because of all this. Everything that's going on in America rn. Which makes sense. The place is empty, there are hardly any customers anymore, and there's just nothing to do but clean clean clean. Everything kinda fell apart. We'll be able to open up after all this is over... but I've lost a reliable source of income. And now I have nothing to do but stay at home and do chores all day. I suppose.

While searching for some old documents buried deep in the closet, I came upon a poem book produced by my senior year high school english class. In it were four submissions of my own (Despite my name being misprinted in the third one).
They're too goofy not to share, so I'm sharing them. Eighteen year old me was a gigantic nerd.
First, let me say sorry for the lack of updates lately. Everything has been fighting for my attention in real life, so I barely had any time to write. And, on top of that, I've had to deal with finals coming up. Real life sucks.
That's not to say that I'm permanently MIA, though. However long it takes, I'll try to start with regular updates sometime soonish. Every story that I currently have running will get at least some sort of update.
I don't know if anyone is near the Raleigh, NC area but I'm going to Animazement 2016 this year. It will be my first convention.

I apologize for my lack of voice recently in terms of news updates and and story updates. Last Friday I got a story into my head that I really liked and had planned on pumping out for the More Most Dangerous Game contest. Got a lot of words on paper, and was really excited to get ~15k words out in one week, as that would have been the largest speed write I've ever done.
But then I got blindsided last Monday.
The head of the FCC, Ajit Pai, would very much like to end net neutrality. Given how most ISPs would prefer net lawful evil if given the option, this is decidedly a bad thing.
It shouldn't come as much of a surprise to know that Mr. Pai is formerly of Verizon.
