Right:
- Twilight's ability to create soundproof bubbles, as presented in chapter 16 of A Kingdom Divided is canon.
- Pinkie and Minuette know each other. Possibly because Pinkie's sister and Minuette work together?
- Right after the landing, Pinkie uses her tail as a helicopter. Some allusions to Minuette's job?
Wrong:
Warning: Spoilers from the latest episode, Amending Fences, abound. Proceed with caution.
Okay...you guys remember Lyravator, right?
Well...the same artist revisited that gag in response to the latest episode:
How the hell did this artist manage this in less than a day?
047 Frenemies Talk: Amending Fences feat. Nyronus
Hello everyone and welcome to the show! No more yaks - this time around we went on a trip to Canterlot so that Twilight could right the wrong. Read on as the Frenemies and Nyronus talk about her old (new) friends, serious matters tackled by the show, and that one cameo about which some people went crazy!
Frenemies Talk, Chapter XI: Amending Fences
Twilight sure is good at making amends. And overreacting. And overreacting while making amends.
But, even if I would like to express my cynicism, it would not change the fact that this was an episode I've thoroughly enjoyed and can count among my favorite episodes of this season. Why? Read below to find out, as we have Nyronus joining us once more.
What does the truth and electricity have in common?
Twilight has a twin sister?
Haycartes was inspired by a 17th century French Scientist/Philosopher?
And much more analysis and commentary of this cool episode.
Enjoy!
I went and bought your book. Now, my opinion of you is a bit mixed. On one hand, you did give us Amending Fences, the best episode in the whole series.
All while simultaneously giving some much-needed character to best pony.
I don't remember how or exactly when I began shipping Twigate. But let me tell you, it was quite a while back; while I have deleted the original story page, I still have a picture on my phone dated to May 13, 2012, of a fic titled "Finding The Truth In Time." Honestly, the premise wasn't that great, (and relied on a really stupid level of misunderstanding about Celestia's opinions on certain matters to kick off) but I've held on to the very minimal, extremely scattered notes from that fic.
Well, since I'm back, may as well start up these blogs again, especially for an episode as great as this one. First off, I honestly don't think I'll see an episode this season that'll top this one, but, who knows, I may be surprised. Second, was I the only one feeling the feels on this one? I mean, it brought us back all the way to the first episode. Throughout the episode's entirety, I was constantly overwhelmed with these memories and feelings I had the first time I watched the series
Some of you might know Firebrand as a community analyst who does critiques and reviews of episodes of MLP, usually with a humorous bent. Well, in his recent review of "Amending Fences," I guest starred as a Changeling! Jeez, with this and "Daughter of Discord," am I becoming the new fan-voice for Changelings? Is this my new role in the fandom?! Will I be swamped by others wanting me to do that voice for their fanfic dramatic readings?!
Probably not. Here's the video.
Honestly, this was the first ep that actually sent a shiver down my spine.
Why, you might ask?
Take a look at the top left of this pic.
Starlight. Is. Alive.
And she's stalking Twilight Sparkle.
Well, I'll still call her Colgate.
I really liked the way they handled Moondancer. It surprised me to hear she was a parallel to the original Twilight, and she was pretty adorkable. Also, Pinkie as a secret weapon. I love that that's a proper thing now.
Finally back with a brand new analysis! I loved this episode, it's now possibly my favorite pony episode ever. It took me three months to make this video, due to life always getting in the way. I hope you enjoy it!
Nostalgia spoilers are not what they used to be!
WARNING: The following blog posts contains some minor spoilers for Amending Fences. If you have not yet watched today’s episode, you might want to do so before you read this post.
For better or for worse.
Twigate is canon now, everyone go home!
Nah, just kidding. Still, this episode has me thoroughly nervoucited.
BUT ON TO THE IMPORTANT THING
You know it's a Badgerpony blog post when his filthy anthro fetish shines through once again and poisons your eyes with perversions of nature.
When I saw The Cutie Map, I had a suspicion about the direction this season would go, but I took a cautious approach. But now it seems my guess has been confirmed. For, let me explain my thoughts on this episode in very simple terms:
The Best Night Ever has been dethroned as my favorite episode of the show. The king is dead. Long live the king.
