Headcanon Destruction Imminent!

I don't remember how or exactly when I began shipping Twigate. But let me tell you, it was quite a while back; while I have deleted the original story page, I still have a picture on my phone dated to May 13, 2012, of a fic titled "Finding The Truth In Time." Honestly, the premise wasn't that great, (and relied on a really stupid level of misunderstanding about Celestia's opinions on certain matters to kick off) but I've held on to the very minimal, extremely scattered notes from that fic. Despite the awful premise, after all, the story did help establish some of my long-standing headcanons about our favorite toothpaste-maned pony, which differ considerably from the typical portrayal of her as a Dentist, and are more in line with the Sepia Tock series - with some additions of my own. And all of this I was fairly secure in, cause Minuette/Romana/Colgate has been safely in the background ponies' background, not well-known enough even to get a role in Ep 100.

Until now.

Next week, we will apparently be going back to the first few minutes of the very first episode. While I already have a headcanon (somewhat explained in my scrapped story Ordeal) that the Colgate we see in Canterlot, both with Twinkleshine in Mare In The Moon and as a bridesmaid in A Canterlot Wedding is the estranged twin sister of the one in Ponyville, but I'm not confident that that will ultimately hold up after next week's episode.

So I figured now would be a good time to just talk about it.
