My apologies for being gone for so long, but I am back! My 4 year long hiatus ends this week. I thought I'd break out of writer's block by hitting the ground running. I've decided I wanted to stream while writing, so if you're interested in checking out my stream, I'll be on https://twitch.tv/cadiefly.
Here's my schedule:
Mondays: 6 - 9 pm est (Writing stream)
Wednesdays: 6 - 9 pm est (Gaming stream)
Saturdays: 6 - 10 pm est (Writing stream)
Hey, folks. Just wanted to let you know where things stand with the main and side story.
Only awaiting final preread of the chapter draft. The next-to-last article in the series goes into the formation and initial staff hires at G4M as a prelude to the hiring of gentlemen themselves, which will be told in the final article. And that final article will be double-length, one last tale of sexiness... telling the story of a very special gentleman; the very first Five Stars ever recruited, in fact. Who is he? You'll find out, but there's a hint given here. All I'll say for now is
As you may know my life went haywire a few months ago, it's been very hard to write anything during that time. All I can manage is very depressing and slightly emo lyrics for songs, and a few sentences here and there. But it's a New Year, and that means it's time to try to work myself through this by writing again. Because if I don't I'll have to change my name to something silly like "StabmyHeart Gorewood" or "IfeellikeTacos Gorewood" and that would be quite a problem wouldn't it? Alright
Look I know the contest ended more than a week ago, I'm sorry, I originally wanted to announce the winner when the artist got finished, but he still hasn't got back to my message yet. Anyway, the winner is Twilight vs. Indigo Frost in the Wasteland of God's Blood. Really this was rather surprising to me, I'll get to the reasons as to why when the art piece comes out. It should be any day now. I order the Commision from EZTP. I found him through a friend and we got to talking. He likes my idea,
Well, folks... I promised a graphics teaser for the new Firefly chapter, so here it is:
And very heavily guest-written. There will be one section by me, one by AJ_Aficionado, and one by Denim_Blue, each highlighting a different race/faction who will shortly have to choose sides in the war. And since I can't resist despite earlier saying there wouldn't be one, here's a teaser...

So in case any of you noticed, I have put all but one of my books on hiatus until further notice. This is not a mistake and will not be changing anytime soon. Under advisement from my grandmother, who is an English professor with decades of experience, I have made the decision to only work on one book at a time until it is complete. All other books are going to be put on the back burner until they are up on the starting block.
Got 2 out of 3 prereads in at this moment, both positive. That means the chapter will launch either tonight or tomorrow morning, tipping the scales at 9k words. Two sex sections and two non, with the latter being seen from Sunset’s perspective on her entry into the castle and first meeting with a curse-corrupted Twilight.
1.) I'm currently about 8800 words into Return to the Brood 4, which is currently in progress with a link on my Official Patreon Page. If you want to see what I have written so far, or want to help contribute to the story's success and completion, you can either follow me on Patreon or visit my Donation Pool.
This month will be a bit slow purely because I have little to post. While I do plan to post more chapters for Hoodwinked, that series won't have a set time until I get a good flow writing it. As for other story expected more chapters for those soon. For Journey To Hearth's Warming, the intermission is the only thing I have a set time for.
Wednesday - June 17th - Journey To Hearth's Warming - Intermission 2: The Hellstone Chains
Greetings all.
Currently, as it stands, Fridays are my official release days for regular publication. However, my work makes it difficult to set an evening time. So, from here on out, just know that they will be released on Fridays, and I'm going to try to put them out as early as possible. Today it was around 6:30 AM, next week it could be even earlier.
I haven't actually started the next chapter yet, having taken a week off from writing following the last one. As much as I enjoyed telling the story of our birdy boi Perry, it was also quite draining, and in the end I needed to step back from clop for a bit to recharge.
Not quite a record time for turning out a new chapter, but close. Weighing in at around 8500 words, it was a scene and sequence I'd been wanting to do for a very long time, and certainly one I'd been hyping here for quite a while. There will be no teaser, and it's possible it will released tonight as I get prereads in and edits finished. Just need some additional music selections, and we're good to go!
The new Nightmare Night chapter now sits at 13300 words with still more to go, so it's getting more and more likely that I'll have to break it up. In all honesty, I don't want to, since I want this to end with the Eclipse/Nightmare denouement, but last time I released a large chapter, it garnered weak response and interest for what I assumed was its daunting length.
And I do mean new. As in, brand spanking new, with very little pulled over from the original story.
For two reasons. First, the combined chapter keeps growing—now 21.2k words—and I’m finding it very mentally taxing to write. And second, part of the reason it’s taxing is I don’t have much mental energy to spare right now. Work is very difficult and stressful at the moment due to a Saturday deadline (that might get pushed back a week), and I’m coming home most nights frazzled and in no mood to do anything creative. Or be social online a lot of the time.
With the latest chapter more than half-done, I'm currently projecting a Thanksgiving-ish release (Thursday, November 28th for the non-American readers) for when you want relief from family or are otherwise immobilized by too much turkey and trimmings.
That was that vacation...
Suuuuucks...
But! I'm back to work, and I've decided to divide my time better. I will write on my stories Friday to Sunday, and the rest of the week just plan out my chapters and relax. My day is pretty long, so I don't wanna hit burnout.
