Update - Life Happens and a New Year Dawns · 7:12am Jan 6th, 2017
As you may know my life went haywire a few months ago, it's been very hard to write anything during that time. All I can manage is very depressing and slightly emo lyrics for songs, and a few sentences here and there. But it's a New Year, and that means it's time to try to work myself through this by writing again. Because if I don't I'll have to change my name to something silly like "StabmyHeart Gorewood" or "IfeellikeTacos Gorewood" and that would be quite a problem wouldn't it? Alright then, on to the tentative yearly schedule.
What this year holds:
My ongoing works I've meant to update are not on hiatus or abandoned, do not fear CMC's versus The Truancy Pony and all the others will still get updates. I'll start with the CMC's versus the Truancy Pony, move to A Timber Tale, then The Science Fiction Story: MLP, and go from there.
The sequels I mentioned last year are still going to happen, including Trickles 2 and the depressing sequel to Final Say. Also a prequel to Marble by the Roadside, and an expansion series of stories about that universe.
Chapter two of Breaking Equis will be coming out soon.
I have over sixty unpublished stories, the general plan is to get at least half of them out by July. These include stories that will make you be scared of the following: Grass, Dirt, Fungus, Mold, Cats, Birds, and Dancing. I'm sorry in advance if you like any of those.
My short story collections and collaborative works will be open to submissions by February. The first few stories will set the tone of things, and as far as I am concerned if a story can stick to the general concept and you are golden. There will be four total series in all, each with a different feeling and idea.
Crossover series will occur, the most anticipated from my perspective being a Tremors in MLP universe story that will be faithful to the original films (and series). Followed closely by a Displaced/HiE fic which may be frowned upon but will hopefully be funny.
One of the most important things (for me), presuming I actually get the confidence to publish it here, will be the first official publication of a modified version of my very first MLP fanfiction from when I was 4 or 5 years old. And by Fanfiction, I mean massive book. The setting is very different from the norm, and important for potential readers to keep in mind is that it was originally set in a prequel world to MLP V1. Yes it was in fact originally meant to be a Ur prequel of sorts to the first MLP series. The second series was out by then and the third I think, but the point is this is my first MLP fanfiction idea. Oh and it came in a series of dreams, so it's weird. Anyway the reason I thought I should mention this is because it is technically an HiE fic, but it's very different. You know that Ur pony civilization I mentioned? Well in the modified version it went the way of Gallifrey, which it did at the end of the dreams anyway sort of. The story itself takes place in "three worlds", and all are sort of important. The human world (in the future), the Ur world (way in the past), and the FIM world (present in relation to human world). It's more or less going to be a very long story, and will have a few moments early on that may surprise.. Actually nobody will see that twist coming.
Anyway that's the gist of things, my apologies for being unable to publish or participate lately. But you know life happens sometimes.
