Help! My Heart is Full of Pony! - Defining Equestria · 9:32pm Sep 8th, 2023
In the show, "Friendship is Magic", and its tangential media, Equestria is referred to as a "kingdom," despite the plain and obvious fact that it is a princesspality.

Biden will be too old and mentally deranged to run. Trump will have a heart attack and die. The election will be Pete Buttigieg vs. Larry Hogan. Hogan will win, but will name Pete as his VP.
So, I don't know how many of you have heard about the EU's new copyright charter, and I don't know how many of you actually live in the EU (and those in the UK, ya'll still technically there, so you should listen up), but this is bad.
Fair warning from the start: This post is going to address that beast, politics, and talk about it a little. Probably not in the way most of you expect, but it is going to address it. So fair warning, this might be messy. But I’m pulling no punches and diving right in.
Full post here!
I know I’ve been pretty quiet this week. I’ve been focused.
But before I say anything else. Before I talk about book news or any of the other tidbits I want to touch on today, I want to say one thing.
I recently took an interest in Marx’s more marginal positions: those relating to the philosophy of right(s), the concept of statehood, and, furthermore, that of citizenship. My drive was not pure curiosity, however. It was, in all honesty, because of an apparent resurgence in the idea that Marx was an antisemite. This accusation seems to be flung increasingly from the right in an attempt to smear Marx, the communist project, and, collaterally, all the people who harbor a leftist agenda. And I
It's in the Twitter feed again that The International Workers of the World, aka the IWW or ‘Wobblies’ , do not consider police unions as unions, and will not show solidarity with them. Thing is, they’re totally right, but apparently it's not being explained very well.
You guys... this fandom never ceases to amaze me.
I need to say this, guys. I know I have an unspoken rule on my page, NEVER TALK POLITICS, but I can't stay silent anymore.
Remember that EU copyright law from a few months back? Well, if you haven't heard, it was narrowly passed yesterday. But don't go holing up in a bunker with an assault rifle and printouts of your Read Later shelf just yet.
Once again the UK is just weeks from crashing out of the European Union. Back in March, we took to the streets and it ended up being postponed and Theresa May was defeated. Now we have an even bigger villain of a Prime Minister with an even more evil plan, while the opposition parties squabble with each other instead of working together.
Still reading Vultures Picnic, by Greg Palast. The book that pointed out the finance minister up a tree with an invisibility hex. There's a lot of background to Armenia and Azerbaijan that feels prescient, for a book that's now ten years old.
One thing he says that caught my eye; In countries that strike oil money, the people always get televisions before they get toilets.
Woah! Is that Ruby with a blog? It's been like forever since she's done anything on the site, I thought she forgot about it and stopped reading. That was my impression of you, how'd I do? Anyway, bad jokes aside, to answer the burning question likely none of you had, yes I still remain, and indeed I do still read. In fact, since my last blog, I've read 4 books, and I'm halfway through number 5. So, let's get into it then, I've got no time to waste and there's a lot to cover!
Yeah yeah I know, I've posted as many blog entries as stories at this point, I need to focus, I'm sorry ^^;
But seriously ANOTHER great episode, this season is incredible :D It started off a bit weak but episodes 7, 8, 9, 12, 13 and 14 have all been brilliant! Seriously any one of them could be the best episode in a normal season, but we've gotten 6 amazing episodes and counting! Wow!
I didn’t plan on making this post today, but then I saw the news and some social media from friends and family, hit a quick Google search because I was reminded of something … and well … Here we are. It’s definitely political in its own way, so far warning, but there’s a moral of its own by the end.
XD
And a close second.
Hey it might be new for yanks.
Well i've done it again. Here's another dramatic reading of a classic poem. One of my favorites actually, "Politics" by William Buttler Yeats!
Let me know what you think in the comments section below.
without any further a due, here you go.
First of all, very recently Net Neutrality is VERY likely to be repealed, which is yet another freedom on the balance of being taken from the `land of freedom`
We are the one of the most wasteful, polluted country on the planet.
More than 20 trillion dollars in debt (1st on the Earth)
Our elections are obviously rigged
Most of the citizens act as if the U.S.A is the only country on the planet that has a slither of freedom.
