Celestia has loved Twilight for a long time. And yet she has never told her. It never seemed like the right moment, and as an immortal Celestia has time to wait for the perfect moment. Right?

Pure simple Twilestia fic. Told entirely from Celestia's point of view.

In another universe, on another planet, with the fate of a civilization hanging in the balance, a desperate act to save it has unforeseen consequences. The multiverse is now merging together, with Equis, the nexus of all universes, being at the heart of it.

Without knowing what caused it, the ponies of Equestria suddenly find themselves in the company of a multitude of alien species, some hostile, some not. Within days, factions form, cities are abandoned, most of the Elements are abducted, alien worlds appear in the sky, and Canterlot is encased in a strange energy shield. However, something much, much worse is coming unless Rainbow Dash and her new companions can stop it.

No pressure, right?
