This story is a sequel to Divine Flight

After the events of “My Little Pony: Make Your Mark,” Maretime Bay has become the center for all pony tribes to mingle and befriend one another. Under the watchful gaze of Sunny Starscout and her friends, Equestria is slowly transitioning back to the unified society it used to be.

But when Zipp starts getting crazy ideas in her head about bringing Wonderbolts back, Sunny vows to make her friend’s dreams a reality no matter the cost. Pouring through every book in the brighthouse that she can find, Sunny and Zipp discover an old history book forgotten by scholars detailing the history of the acclaimed aerial stunt performers. Knowing that there is a group of Wonderbolt fanatics in the local Elementary School, Sunny resolves to get Zipp a job there as the new athletics coach.

As Sunny and Zipp attempt to train the students to become the next iteration of the Wonderbolts in only a week, the fillies may prove to be more difficult to teach than they initially imagined. Nonetheless, Sunny is determined to fulfill her promise to Zipp, proving beyond any doubt that the magic of friendship is still a powerful force in Equestria….

After the events of “My Little Pony: Make Your Mark,” Zipp Storm decides that it is finally time to apologize to her sister Pipp Petals for accidentally embarrassing her in front of all of Zephyr Heights during the heist for the Pegasus Crystal all those months ago.

Unbeknownst to her, Pipp wants to apologize for something she did in the past as well….

Izzy Moonbow has always wanted to make friends with those around her and beyond, being the only happy unicorn filly in Bridlewood. One day, her life changes forever when she receives a mysterious glowing lantern with a letter inside, telling her that she has friends in the Earth Pony town in Maretime Bay and that she should visit!

She so wants to, but the problem is, her father doesn’t want her to, worrying about her safety….

An extended version of that emotional campfire scene where Izzy recounts her childhood and receiving Sunny’s letter through flashbacks….

Sunny…she’s always so optimistic that she can change things here in Maretime Bay, make everypony get along, and prove a point to our system, which is inherently Earth Pony-centric.

I don’t know what the other races are like. I’ve never seen them. But from what I heard about them…I feel Sunny is going to get herself either killed or something much worse should she keep this up. She’s my only real friend here in this town and I’m all she’s got. I don’t think she truly understands how dangerous this world really is.

This is the story of me trying to live up to the mantle of a responsible sheriff, protecting the town, and my friend, even if it means protecting her from herself….
