Daily Regimen

Ideas Entwined is now complete, and I'm honestly quite happy with the results. When my output usually peaks at one sub-10k-word story per month, putting out 36 kilowords over two months of effort is not too shabby at all. I know, I know, quantity over quality, but I still have some very fun ideas in here, including several interesting directions to take G5. So, what's next now that I've beaten this challenge?

You know, that's a very good question.

I do intend to circle back to Space-Time Out soon, but I have a number of other ideas I'd like to explore as well. Right now, it's a matter of seeing what catches my muse's interest now that I don't have the time constraint hanging over my head. Let's throw in a few tidbits from my scraps/concepts folder:

• A young Cadence is cursing out the palace kitchens for botching true Bitalian cuisine. Sunset Shimmer is shocked and delighted to see the perfect pink princess get mad, joins in. Alt. timeline ho!
• Principal Celestia comes through the portal to mess with the School of Friendship for a bit of petty revenge. See how Twilight likes it for a change.
• Draconequi and alicorns are actually two genders of the same species. Ponies only learn of this when Shining Armor ascends.
• With none of her usual friends/hangers-on-to in Ponyville, Trixie reluctantly joins Spike’s O&O session... to incredible effect.
• Twilight receives word of a grim plot by a cabal of pony assassins known only as “The Eleven Secret Herbs and Spices.”

Note: None of these are developed beyond what you see here; just felt like sharing some of what's bouncing around.
