[Announcement]:My plans for 2022 part 4 - Adressing the future of "Springtime Nights - Pneuma Flower" and more · 12:46am Jan 4th, 2022
With this blogpost I'll be adressing any remaining sequels in short order. Leave your comments below and any feedback will be considered.
Let's start with the quickies.
"Origins - Selune Darkeye", "Fiery Friendship" and "The trials of Selune Darkeye".
Nope. I got nothing on those. I will use them as stepping stones for future fics and the relationship/friendship between Terra Lionmane and Selune Darkeye as a basis for any future endeavors. But other than that they will remain as they are.
Nope. Mostly because I don't really care for this anymore. I will use it to improve the way I write my latest fic "I don't want to be..." and any future fanfics. I liked what I did but I was dissatisfied with the way I planned to resolve this. I like the new Chrysalis I got in my mind now better than this one and the whole freedom struggle between choice and coercion sounds way more interesting in my mind than a magical curse that has little to no easy solution. That and maybe I'm not particularly willing to put myself in the mindset of a character so proufoundly miserable.
Similarly "HISHE:To where and back again", "Now what?" and "My Deathwish" (especially yhe last one) put me in a mindset I'm not willing to explore again in favour of my mental health. I no longer resonate with those issues and as such don't want to see more of them. It's downright depressing and I'm not dragging myself into that spot in order to write horsewords.
For now at least...
What about "Precious soul of mine..."?
What about it? It's fine. Could use a rewrite and I was planning that at one point but decided against it. It would just complicate things and honestly the plotpoint shares a lot of my favourite media inspiration and I am not doing that anymore. I'm focusing on themeing. Plus I've got no idea what I would write. I guess I'll just use what Amore (the fusion of Chrysalis and Cadence) would become there and basically use that personality or traits of it in my future fics.
What about Disc...
No. No crackfics. I ran out of crack. We only use weed in this house anymore...
I AM KIDDING OF COURSE. I don't have weed either, but I do have me... yeah ok I'll stop.
Now adressing the crux of this blogpost.
Lots of you don't know about "Springtime Nights - Pneuma Flower". I wrote it for a contest. Won second place. Got a coverart as a gift. It was nice. It features two friend's OCs. It's fine. It's a good fic. Honestly I just want to write a small wholesome fic sequel where Princess Sky and the gang have fun. Maybe end on a good note and shit. I need that. It'll be lighthearted and not aspiring to be something great. It'll just be fun. It'll be called "Un-huggable" or something like that.
I realize this is a bit of a short update for this fic but honestly I got nothing more to say about it. I compacted most of the rest so there wouldn't be too many more blogposts being spammed. That being said the next blogpost I'm going to post will be a bigger announcement than anything so far.
