How many of these will be made. Buckle up buckaroo. I don't even know... I'm ambitious asf these days. Better aim for the stars instead of just standing there right?
Anyway I said I had a plan not that my organisational skills were good. That being said I'm counting on your guys support, comments and encouragement to keep me going.
Let's talk about my most recent story. "I don't want to be...".
It needs a rewrite. Something that will put more fire more personality into the characters of the story. Some of you might think that this fic is good. but I've been putting on hold mostly because I'm prioritizing other things in my life right now.
But why?
Like I said I'm not satisfied with the way the characters talk. Throughout the comments and criticism I've received I will admit that I'm embarassed. I had plans for the characters to say things that they on a second take I totally wouldn't hear them say. It's one of my sins that I've mentioned in previous blogposts. Well not by these words but the ones clever enough will understand what I mean. Sometimes you need to focus more on the themeing rather than what strikes your fancy.
Are you going to remove the previous version?
Not removing it or resubmitting it. Just rewriting it. It would be unfair to the people striving to get up in this algorithm that the feature box has for me to just spit and re-use a fic I had previously.
Also pretty sure that would be against TOS or rules of the site.
Also also while embarassed I want to be able to see my progress on this site.
Will you change the ending?
Maybe? I'm going to release a new chapter that will contain the re-write and contain more details, rewritten scenes and maybe even a different ending. Overall however the themeing and the purpose of this fic will remain the same. I'm not spoiling anything I'm simply saying that the reasons you liked the fic will still remain maybe even you'll add more to them.
Will there be a sequel?
There's an idea about a sequel that's been churning around in my mind. We still haven't seen what kind of situation progressed into what Chrysalis became. She might be looking towards the future but what is that future? What about those that followed her that didn't join Thorax like Pharynx? What about that "Black Sanctuary" dream I mentioned? Wtf is that?
Those are the questions I want to answer with my next fic. Don't expect something lengthy. Do expect however for Chrysalis to be go forward with a smile by the end. Rigidity doesn't suit her at all.
