Letters arc complete and posting Monday with Chapter 10 of The Knight, The Fey Maiden, and the Bridge Troll too

I have up to Chapter 99 complete in Letters From a Little Princess Monster, which is a little embarrassing since I *started* the arc in the middle of Covid season. It could have graduated from several universities in that time. Rather than tease bits out of it like I have before, I'm just going to go straight into my daily publishing routine and let you catch up on where I am on The Knight, The

Sun will be down for maintenance on Monday. Sorry for the inconvenience. --NASA

Here's a story by Estee you can read to take up the time until the Sun is all tuned up and returned to operation.

EA Total Eclipse Of The Fun
The second anniversary of the Return is approaching, and all Luna wants for the celebration is one thing -- something Equestria hasn't seen in more than a thousand years. This could be a problem.

    Big Leather Egg Sunday

A reminder (as John Cleese put it) that today is Big Leather Egg Sunday, and to celebrate, I'm linking the Best Football MLP story of all time by Kris Overstreet. Starring... Rarity?

    Goodbye Toby Keith, American Legend

Undoubtedly, if Toby Keith had ever done a tour in Equestria, Applejack would have been right there in the front row, whoopin' and a hollerin' as loud as possible. I think every high school in the US had a proud friendly guy like this, and we raise our red Solo cups in tribute to his last beer run. Salute!

New Year 2024- New Projects 1939

Still working on everything else this year, but I've got a sequel/prequel to Equestria: 1940 in the works, both a series of short stories set in the 1940 world up to the Equestrian moon project, and a war story showing some behind the scenes details about the war. For a little country the size of Ohio in the northern Atlantic, it has a lot of potential. Explosive, mostly. Snippets after the

Everfree NorthWest Aug 13-15 2021 - I'm going · 4:34pm Jul 30th, 2021

Since I'm headed to Everfree NorthWest this year, I got to wondering how many (if any) books like Drifting Down the Lazy River from my collection I should bring for other people who are there and might want one (at cost). Say something in the comments if you're interested. Also, postage rates go up on Aug 1, so this is your last day to get cheaper Forever stamps for letters and postcards. (In case you want to send a postcard to Estee, and for which I plan on bringing some pre-addressed and stamped postcards to EFNW to hand out to people who never get around to doing things (like me)).

I'm still pleasantly baffled at how many people are willing to spend $25 to get a hardcover copy of Letters From a Little Princess Monster. I did a breakdown of my sales at one time, let me see if I can find that.
(Digs around in Internetland) Here we go.

341 total, all books. 105 copies of Sisters, 106 copies of The River Fen, 73 Traveling Tutor (minus the 4 copies that Aquaman had to give away sigh) 46 Monster, 27 Letters (which is a shock because it's a tree-killer

I have to give an inordinate amount of credit to iisaw, without whom my covers would look like crayon drawings by a toddler, and Aquaman, who was a pillar of relative sanity throughout the process. I owe them an enormous debt.

Looking forward to seeing you at EFNW!

... Though I'm not going... I really need to remember to pick a couple of your books up soon.

Yay, Georg is coming too!

Nice. Wanderer D's going as well.

Have fun there. As I said on Wanderer D's blog too, it's a bit too far for me to come from, uh, Belgium :unsuresweetie:

Psh. I need another one of these Letters door-stoppers. Get on with writing it! :rainbowwild:

The postage rate increases are actually effective as of August 29, not August 1. See also Draft Notice 123.

See you there!

I need to get a copy of Letters and Monster from you.

Have a splendid time!
Though I've no expectation at this point of being able to make it this year, sadly.

At least you won’t need to deal with Chris-Chan.

5562341 I can bring a copy of Monster, but not sure if I can get a copy of Letters in time.

5562403 A week ago, I would have had no idea who you were talking about. This week I do and wish I didn't.

5562341
I have a copy of monster set aside for you.
(Edit: Got it to him, and one for his friend. Sometimes, things work out far better than expected.)

5562341 I'll be at the Iron Author awards on Sunday to watch somebody else get the awards, so you should be able to catch me there.
