Is the year 2021 too late to realize you have a stealthy, sleeping fetish? Namely one for sexy femmes in tennis uniforms...?
Whatever the case, I was inspired to commission this lovely eyeball-pleasing number by the talented artist riouku. To my surprise, they tackled it from sketch to final within the span of a week. Either they're just that insanely gifted or they had nothing else on their plate or both. Nevertheless, I highly recommend them for both quality and professionalism. Thanks to their artwork, I can now visualize Fluttershy and a certain adorable femboysona bonding together in sweaty merriment.
Will this be cover art someday? Who am I kidding? I dun write anything anymore.
Those of you who are sad enough to still be subscribed to me know that about half of my fics these days involve the subject of transvesticism and gender-bending. I'm always on the lookout for coming up with fresh and invigorating ideas, oftentimes falling on the poor shoulders of Flash Sentry as proxy experimental subject matterhorn.
Lo and behold, there comes someone from beyond the Kuiper Belt to put me and my pathetic excuses at Some-Like-It-Hot-Ness to irreversible shame. With talent and good-will, that is.
I speak, of course, concerning shallow15's Birthday Gyrrl. It features Flash Sentry (check). It involves cross-dressing (double-check). It has makeup and dress-twirling (triple-check). But--it manages to use all of that as an actual springboard into complete wholesomeness and sober character-analysis, which is a stone's throw forward in maturity and progressiveness from the sad hentai-baka state of my own sissified drivel.
In less self-deprecating terms, Birthday Gyrrl stands apart in that it's not trying to be fetish fuel. It's not trying to be shipping fodder. It's not committing gross generalities about atypical gender-coding and it's not obsessed with Disney Princesses (okay, so I indulged on that last factor).
What the story does is cast a realistic scenario in which a young college-aged male comes to term with wishing to express a "pretty" feminine side. Plus he has friends who support him. And it's not like some Bibbidi-Bobbido-Boo magical transformation, but a realistic exploration of the hobby and the emotional ins and outs of doing so. The story's quite educational in a lot of ways, casting realism in place of pure fantasy. There's an emotional arc with legit character development, and it's clear as Christmas that the author poured his heart and soul into the work.
It's also wholesome. Wholesome as fuqqqqq. And it deserves more views. So it's going up on this blargh, Nietzsche dammit. Go check out Birthday Gyrrl and give it the views and attention that it deserves plzzz. Shallow15 is a talented marsupial and his stories deserve more recognition. The universe demands it.

Damaged is a talented c--... er... mate who writes a gazillion words everyday. They're also really talented. And really cool. So when I found out that they do commissions via their patreon, I dug in. What came out the other side was better than I even expected, and I'm happy to be on board a new Femme Flash Sentry literary train.
What's Flash Sentry's Charmed Life all about? Pretty much the same thing all of my pink-flavored fics are about. Only this time it's being written by someone with actual skill, and a good sense of pacing. So, if you're tired of waiting on this lazy lemur to produce niche shiet, I highly recommend you check out Damaged's work... and maybe their Patreon while you're at it, so they can be paid to write even more awesome stuff to bless this universe with.

Just finished reading Birthday Gyrrl, and heccin' heck that is an adorable story. I only wish I could write a makeup scene that well. The best bit, after all the best kind of enabling Rarity and Sunset perpetrated, was Flash getting home and finding his mom supportive.
