Chewie: growl?
Shepherd: "No Chewie, you can't eat him. You don't know where he's been."
Chewie: Snorts.
Dash: "Okay okay! Hang on! Time out! Give me a second here, okay?"
Shepherd: "Okay."
Zephyr: "Anything you want, Dashie!"
She flies off, and brings back Fluttershy in a few minutes.
Shepherd: "Look Fluttershy, I really don't want to hurt your brother but-"
Fluttershy: "It's okay. I know you won't kill him."
Shepherd: "I-Seriously?"
Fluttershy: "Sometimes you need to shove the bird out of the nest so they can fly. And sometimes you need to give the bird a boop on the beak to pay attention and figure things out. And SOMETIMES you need to smack the bird around so he'll stop mooching off his family!"
Fluttershy is huffing hard. Shepherd massages her under her wings, and Fluttershy relaxes.
Shepherd: "Okay, okay, breathe. Breathe. I've got this."
Zephyr: "Sooo... Time Out is over?"
Shepherd: "Yes. At the count of five. All right?"
Zephyr: "Okay!"
Shepherd: "And... Five." He then punches Zephyr as hard as he can, knocking him out with one blow. "And done."
Dash: "Wait, I could have beaten him up all this time?!"
Fluttershy: "No... Because he would like it if you hit him."
Dash: "Oh. Ew..."
This is part of why I ship him with Lightning Dust. Both of them deserve as much pain as I can send their way.
"Beat some sense into him" is usually just an idiom... but this is Zephyr we're talking about.
*Shows up in the War Machine Armor, stops, looks around and sees the unconscious Zepher, looks at Shepard* "Aww! Over already?"

Exactly, Flutters.
I bet that punch to his empty skull made such a satisfying hollow thud.
Now have Chewie, well, chew on him. Not hard, just kinda gnaw a little bit to ruin his outfit and make his skin tender.
That mooch will wake up thinking being knocked out by Shepherd made him more sympathetic to Dashie.
Idiots don't know they're idiots...
