Rest in Peace · 2:18am May 10th, 2019
As you may have heard by now, MythrilMoth passed on in his sleep this past weekend. I can say with sincerity that he was an inspiration to me in numerous ways, from tiny details to his method of storytelling without fear or shame. If I got him to reply on my comment on an Out of Context Screenshot Theater post, I knew I'd struck gold. He will be truly missed.
I am so sorry to hear about this. I didn't know him, but I did enjoy his storytelling.
Rest In Peace MythrilMoth aka Robert Morrison. Heartbroken now. You will be sorely missed by all regular readers and followers here in FiMFiction and elsewhere you contributed to.
Damn, I had no idea.
He too inspired me
Oh Lord. I had no idea. It's crazy to imagine we can go at any time. Rest in peace.
Damn... this one really kind of hits hard. I feel the same way when it came to those Screenshot theaters, but he was also kind of an inspiration for a lot of my work. It's really sad to hear about this. Rest in Peace.
I can't say I knew him, but I remember seeing him everywhere here. His influence was deep and far-reaching, and I doubt he will be forgotten soon. I hope he's in a better place now.
Heh. Rest in Peace. I guess there really is a Magic card for everything.
Oh no ... rest in peace.
Thanks for the signal boost. Dude had so many stories it took me a while to even find the ones I favorited in the past. We should all be so prolific.
Thank you for letting us know. RIP, Moth.
I'm very sorry to hear that. I didn't follow MythrilMoth closely, but I saw his comments everywhere. I miss reading them.
Oh no ;-;
Rest in Peace, MythrilMoth. You will be missed
You know, even if I've never spoken to the guy and can't even remember if I read any of his stories, it's so surreal that somebody who was basically everywhere on this site to the point that I just knew who he was is gone now.
I never really interacted with him, but, like seemingly everyone else, I knew him as a fixture of the site. He'll be missed.
Oh no... damn.
Rest in piece, MythrilMoth.
Oh, crap. I remember reading his stuff back in the nineties when he was calling himself Eternal Lost Lurker. He will be missed......
...did not hear about this.
This shook me.
It's strange how something you've always taken for granted can just... disappear, so quickly. I'm actually going to be reading Our Town soon for school. Strange.
I hadn't heard about this until now, and now I feel guilty cause I'd been hoping his newest fic was going to update.
And it reminds me of a post I saw on tumblr saying the internet is full of ghosts
Oh jeez.
