After Change: Avia is done (which is coming pretty soon-ish), I was going to go straight into the final large-scale story of the Changeverse. That being Change: The new Kingdom, which would be of similar style and length to the first two stories. And dark, very dark.
But I was wondering whether or not I should have another story between Avia and New Kingdom, like Soaring on Little Wings was a break between Queen of the Hive and Avia. Seeing as I'm not really sure what way to go on the matter, I thought it best to see what you fellows wanna see next in the pipeline.
So yeah. Change: The New Kingdom is the first of the two options. The second is a new thing called 'A Sparkle in the Darkness'. The basic premise being that Sombra is alive and inside Twi's head. Oh, and she happens to be his most recent descendant, as they pretty quickly determine. Twilight is thus trying to reform the King of Shadows while being unable to talk about his presence, while Sombra is trying to corrupt his 'heir' into darkness. But despite that, it's still a fair bit lighter and less war torn than Change is nowadays.
Both stories are intended to be made. This just decides which one comes first.

Both are good, but "A Sparkle in the Darkness" has an interesting premise so let's see that first. Hoping "New Kingdom" isn't just dark for the sake of being dark as well

That depends on what you consider being dark for the sake of dark, which is in itself quite subjective. Change is (sans Avia) a naturally dark storyline, given some of the subject matter.
That's not to say there won't be light moments. Reading my stuff you should know I always include levity and jokes. But New Kingdom is the conclusion to Queen Twilight's story, and will have some heavy stuff.
I really like the change series but honestly I hope to see both stories very soon! Keep up the good work

Fair enough. I have confidence you'll write a good story, but I don't know how darker the series can get without becoming ridiculous. They almost lost completely last story, with friends left and right being taken under Immortalis's thrall. Where do you go from there?

I can't say the scale of the threat will be higher (it won't honestly, not much beating the Empress) but the emotions, and how personal things get for certain characters, is where it goes down.

Well, whatever you decide to do, I'll enjoy the journey as I say goodbye to the universe that partially inspired this little story of mine and I'll give it a check to your other story to see if it inspires me to do something else.

Before I cast my vote, I'm curious about something... How long do you plan to make Sparkle in the Darkness? I'd like to know because the conclusion of the Change series is something I've been waiting for excitedly while also dreading. (Where will I go for Bug-Twi when the author who writes it so well and actually finishes his stories, goes away?) But back to my original topic, the story idea your proposing sounds interesting, and I can definitely see my vote going for it if the story isn't too, too long. Though I would hope it to be of reasonable length

I think "Change" was pretty good but it got a little stale, not upload wise (cause you writing mad dadt). If you start a new alternate universe similar to change in regards to changelings, most of your fans would probably be content with it.👌

No matter what pull say, U are author and u decide want next and when will be released. So take all time u need. Some revitalizing brake will be also suggested.

Around the size of Act 1 of a Change entry. So about 25-30 chapters approximately.
Also, don't worry about Change going away immediately after New Kingdom. I have potential plans of a chronicles-like anthology afterwards, one that would be updated every now and then with bonus lore and the such.
