mothra and tia look cute
Gotta say, Faith really did a great job with her EG drawing. Mothra really looks the most beautiful amongst the three and I can’t help but find her to be exotic due to the tattoos and the jewel on her forehead (though I do feel she’d be a challenge to draw during fight scenes). Eventide Hymn looks like a bad girl in terms of fashion sense yet she also seems to have Siren elements due to her sunset-on-a-beach drawing on her midriff top, though it’s also impressive that Faith can make a pink girl look tough. Lastly, Celestia looks downright adorable with her braided pink-and-gold hair and the glasses with purple sweater combo (I honestly find her prettier than Principal Celestia). To summarize, Faith rules and does as good a job, maybe better, in designing EG characters as some of the people in the show.
Faith did an excellent job on all three. I especially love the tribal tattoos on Mothra. Like I said on DA, it reminds me very much of Maori "Ta Moko".

Faith really can pull off some sweet EQG designs. She puts in a lot of character in these that make them stand out and each one feel unique. Lea is definitely the top tier beauty here. 11/10. Hymn is interesting and certainly looks like she's got some attitude. Her bangs make me think of Irys, not sure if that's an intended hint or just coincidence. And teenage Tia is cute in that "hipster little sister" kind of way. Glasses suit her.

Not even by what the poll says as there were ONLY 3 sirens teleported to the EG realm, so if by some 1 in a goddamn MILLION chance that the poll comes out otherwise and you agree and end up messing with the lore...it's completely horsesh#t, literally!

I think teenage Celestia's Peachy Keen disguise is rather adorable and cute. Of course I've already comment about how beautiful and sexy Mothra Lea looks in her EG form on her DA page. You are certainly blessed to have a girlfriend who's a talented artist, Tarb.
I voted Gigan in Drag. Irys seemed too obvious knowing Tarb, so I decided the next logical option would be GIGAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNN!!!

Getting an look at Hymn, I'm even more convinced now than ever that this is NOT Irys. As for who on the list it might be... I'll go with EG Chrysalis just as a pure guess. But I expect it also might not be anyone on the list.

Not likely. EG counterparts usually reflect their Equestrian iterations in appearance and this gurl hardly looks like Hymnia.

I was voting Irys before I even saw this picture. This... I would say is Irys in a new(ish) outfit with a good dye job, some makeup, and contacts.
After all, they may be unsure which side Sunset will be on, and thus may want to observe her for a bit first. If the sirens don't know a thing or two about effective disguises and makeup use, I'd be shocked.
Shot in the dark, is it Destroyah. Cause I can't think of anyone else.

That wouldn't make any sense, though. Destroyah is still in Equestria as far as we know, she's never been to the EqG realm, and she's certainly never interacted with the Sirens.

I still scratch my head at that. Sunset is already aware that Irys and her friends are associating with the Dazzlings, and nobody else really knows who Irys and the Dazzlings even are. So I'm not sure why a disguise would be necessary.

Simple. Sunset has seen Gigan with Irys. Sunset knows Irys can use a Gyous' sonic cutter attack. Ergo, she has better then even odds of knowing Irys is a Kyju.
The other Rainbooms saw Gigan. Gigan and X saw Mothra with the Rainbooms. Ergo, both sides know Kaiju are involved.
Sunset knows she helped the other Dark Hunters on a rescue mission to save X. She also knows the Sirens were trying to save Aria, and that X and Aria ended up saving each other. She does not know if they are closely linked to each other, or were allies of convenience.
Ergo, Sunset may suspect the Sirens might be working with the Dark Hunters, but would not know for sure. Therefor, if the potentially still being targeted Sirens are to have back up, and if that back up is to not be known as a Kaiju on sight, said Kaiju must be in a disguise.
Will it work? Who can say. At the least, showing an unexpected color palette should keep Lea and the other Kaiju from IDing Irys. Which, considering the backup Lea just got, is likely to be a very good thing.
After all, to at least three quarters of the Dark Hunters, facing Junior is at least as much a Brown Pants Moment as being near a ticked off Ghidorah. And that's before learning how GKG was KILLED by the Godzilla Brothers.....

I suppose that's a decent argument. It just seems like an awful lot of trouble to go through just for one person's benefit. Especially since it seems rather unlikely for Irys to assume that Sunset would immediately rat her out.
On a second look, it suddenly occurs to me that Hymn has a sunset on her shirt. Huh.

Eventide Hymn regardless, Sunset is feeling major conflict in revealing Irys as she knows the two kaiju responsible for wiping out the other gyaos are Junior and Lea, who are now present. And she's figured out the pale gyaos that got away was Irys before she met and joined the team Gigan, X, and Megalon are on. So she might fear that if she revealed she knew Irys was, at least at some point, in the human world and was likely there again due to Gigan being present (Sunset is unsure if X is around given he was in his Kaizer form most of the time and she wouldn't recognize the color scheme), she might put a death mark on her friend. So a disguise would still be useful as a "better safe than sorry" method no matter who knows who's involved. As Lance noted, the knowledge basically goes like this
The Dark Hunters and Sirens are fully aware of each other and working together, they are aware of Sci-Twi's existence and some unknown out there as well, and they know Lea is there but not Junior, Celestia, or Anguirus yet. They also know Sunset is aware of the DH and probably Sirens. Twilight Sparkle knows the Dark Hunters and Sirens and is at least cooperating to some degree with them to sort this mess out, knowing what they know.
Gloriosa Daisy knows of the DH's and sirens and is in on their secrets to a reasonable extent. However she doesn't know they kidnapped Twilight.
Sunset Shimmer is aware of the DH's existence and knows at least Gigan is involved now with probably X as well, and knows the sirens are not normal people. But she doesn't know they are working together, or about Sci-Twi, or the unknown force. She is aware of Lea, Celestia, Junior, and Anguirus. She doesn't know about Gloriosa's powers or status.
The Human 5, Flash Sentry, Celestia, Lea, and Junior are all aware of (or soon to be aware of) each other and the kaiju and Tia know X, Gigan, and Megalon work together. They do not know Irys joined the team, that Irys is there, who the sirens are (until now perhaps), or Sci-Twi and her company. They might be aware of Gloriosa's existence but are clueless to her powers.
And only the DH's know of Bagan with the sirens only being vaguely aware the DH's have a "master" and that said master is after something else that might be tied to who attacked Sonata.
That is, even surmising Irys is Eventide Hymn though. Am curious why that idea has cropped up in so much abundance.

They have at least one professional (X) and two amateur (the Sirens) paranoids in the group. They know someone or something is going around stealing Siren Hearts. The one and only lead they had was not only a dead end, but brought in a Freaking Guardian Moth, and if they did any sort of interrogation, they may know that Guardian Beast Alpha and He That Scares Aliens Shitless are lined up as backup.
I reiterate; they know they have ticked off a group which contains someone that can trounce Irys one on one, who nearly Killed Irys when Irys was the one with 5 DOZEN other Kaiju as backup, and which may have called in a guy that soloed 300 Kaiju in one night, and who has successfully fought off GKG (admittedly with help) at least twice, and more recently, KILLED the Son Of A Bitch. With Angirus as backup, the Dark Hunters are outmatched, and know it. (Well, not really. They know their outmatched, but they are likely wrong...)

It's likely because the list of very tall, pale-haired women that we definitely know the sirens are associating with is a pretty short one.

I can give three reasons I suspect Hymn and Irys are one and the same.
First, both are tall women associated with the Sirens.
Second, no other tall woman that is associated with the Sirens has yet been reveled.
And third, with whatever attacked Sonata still out there, the other two Sirens need a full time bodyguard, and there are none they would trust that are as capable as the Dark Hunters. Since the only Dark Hunter that can pass as a normal human woman is Irys.....
To be fair, the Dark Hunters COULD have called in some other backup. However, the only allied female kaiju smart enough to pass as human is the Legion Queen, and since She's busy dealing with Chrysalis, it's unlikely she would be involved in this matter.

By now, yes. Sonata could tell the difference and the timing didn't add up. They still don't trust her 100% and don't want her blabbing to the others, hence why they got Gigan doing surveillance on her, which Twilight agreed to to make sure they were at ease.

That and Twilight's friends now include enemy kaiju they really don't want to meet or get too involved. Thus keeping Twilight as a 'hostage' makes sense to keep them at bay.

I seem to recall reading that the various Coalition Aliens are.... rather frankly terrified of Junior. Am I remembering right, and if so, just how frightened are we talking? British wizard hearing You-Know-Who's name scared, There's An Angry Dragon Flying Overhead scared, or Ranma sees an ally cat scared? (Ranma being a massive alurophobe....)

More the alien races in the group were scared (to Ranma levels) of Godzilla than the kaiju were. X, Gigan, and Megalon just regard him as a huge threat to be avoided if possible, way too much trouble.

So, Earth not only had one of the highest populations of known gigafauna ever encountered (from what I've gathered, it came in at number 2 after the homeworld of the Ultramen,) but it also has reliably produced horrifying kaiju like The Godzilla Family. Why, exactly did the Coalition think invading Earth was a good idea again? For any sort of mineral resource, there was plenty to harvest outside the gravity well, in terms of technology Humanity would pose little to no threat past Earth's atmosphere, and Earth's biosphere was, to them, a horror show to avoid like the plague. So why invade at all?
