*Peeks into the fandom awkwardly* Hi~, how's it going? 😅
So, with the title of the blog, what it's tagged under, and how long it's been since I've been here, you all probably already know what this is about, so I'll cut to the chase. I'm ... just not into MLP anymore, not as much as I was when I first started watching the series, drawing my own OCs for it, writing fan fics for it, etc. I haven't made any effort in watching the latest season that's finished, and I honestly cringed when I saw a few trailers for the new movie that I'll never watch. I don't really come here to read pony fanfictions and clopfics anymore. They just don't tickle my excitement as much as they used to. I'm at that point of leaving the fandom.
You've probably noticed I put TMS (and its bonus chapters) under the hiatus status. I sincerely apologize to all the fans here for doing this now when I should've done it ages ago and not keep you on the edge of your seat. I forgot how much time has already passed since my last blog post, and more so on how long I even made an update for this story. Though I've occasionally had thoughts like 'I really should get to writing that again,' it's gotten harder and harder for me to really get invested in it, to where I hardly even think about it at all, especially when I'm occupied writing completely new content for something I might plan on making somewhere in the future.
So what will happen with TMS? Well, I'm currently messaging someone who's been interested in inheriting the story and continue it since my updates started to lag. Once we come to a good conclusion, I'll quickly finish the latest chapter I was last working on (just to get it out of the way and not let it's incomplete state plague my mind), have it looked over, and once I have that published, I'll be passing ownership of the story over to him/her to continue from there. I'll be giving them an outline of how I want the rest of the story to progress, so it won't go into a completely different direction as I intended it to be, it will just be a foundation for them to go off of as they tell the story in their own way. You'll probably see a drastic change of how the story's read, but I'd like to keep the plotline somewhat consistent, at least. Those of you on the D Team of proofreading and editing, if you're still around and like to provide assistance to the potential new author for the story, I'll introduce them to you once we get to that bridge.
Once again, I must sincerely apologize to all of you for bringing it up like this, and I thank you for sticking by all this time, but it's about time I move on to other possibilities of interests. Next year will especially be the beginning of large changes for me, so I need to make closures to whatever comes to mind before I really take the first step to them with little to no regrets. I'll keep my account open in case people still want to look at my old works. If I get something for a one-shot or short story related to this somehow, I'll probably put it up here without having it proofread and edited, who knows? The main point is, I may be leaving, but I won't let TMS die in vain. Even if I don't have the drive to finish it anymore, as long as I know you've all enjoyed the journey with me up to now, and maybe later when the new person takes over, I can say that I actually accomplished something great here, and I can't thank you all enough for allowing me this unique experience in my life. I'll be on within the next couple of days to answer any questions you all might have while I have things settled with the new potential author. There's some other stuff what I want to say, but I'll keep it under the page break and refer it again when I make the official sign off. For those who are also into anime and other Japanese content, if you're aware of what WN stands for, that is something I might get into later on. In fact, it's that kind of media that I'm really giving the majority of spending my free time on these days, whether it be writing, reading, watching, or playing games around it. When I really start getting involved with this fandom, I'll most likely be using my 'Dudeler' alias as 1) I'm too lazy to come up with another cool username, and 2) it just clicks with me so well that describes what kind of person I am: a dude that just want to live a simple life, sparing time with whatever dude-like hobbies are out there. So who knows? You may still see me around actively writing in the future.
I will say that I do not regret joining and being a part of this fandom for this brief period of my lifetime. I've met funny, cool, and interesting people here in the fandom, when I started out drawing replies with my very first pony OC on a now dead tumblr ask blog. I've made friends, a long-distance relationship, and few enemies. The good and bad times I've experienced inside and outside of the fandom, some of these people were kind enough to lend me their eyes and read my vents and woes, and I can't thank them enough for that. Slowly but surely, I transitioned my creativity from drawing to writing that I found a lot easier and efficient to express ideas with, which led me to making an account here and write for all of you guys. I may not have written as many fan fictions as I wanted to since I started, but I can be satisfied with having one successful story to make it big on this site, and I'm proud of what I accomplished after getting it so far.

It's sad to see you go. This was a great story. As long as you make a blog with the link to the new person that will continue the story then I am fine with that. It will be sad but these things happen. Hope you have a great future wherever you go and whatever you do.

Hm, that's too bad, but at least you took the steps to make sure your story doesn't die. Though, please make sure to let us know the name of the new author, many forget to do so.

No more point in keeping this story on my favorites list then. Adopted stories rarely ever keep the same flow and ends up turning me off from it since I got used to the flow already. I wish you luck.
Guess it never got picked up. Lo, another great story lost to the abyss of time, along with some of the other great romfics in this fandom. Still gonna track it though.
