So...I have one question for you all. · 1:06pm Jul 26th, 2017

Flurry the Furry & the Next Generation Kids!:

Strong Teen rating (since honestly the chapter that started all this was more Teen than Mature in the first place), or Mature rating so I can get away with pretty much anything? Because I'm really seeing this story as being more like Justice3442's The Dazzlings Are Insane and...well...pretty much everything else batshit crazy Justice writes, which would imply a strong Teen rating rather than a Mature rating.

(And I just realized there's a logistic iffiness here; I need to be able to link back to the chapter that spawned this thing, but it's a chapter of an M-rated story and I'm pretty sure I can't link to that from a Teen-rated story...or can I? I know the rule for blog posts, but interlinked connected...)

(...actually it's sequel-tagged for Just Girls Talking Dirty anyway, so I guess fuck it?)

Anyway, yeah, I'm personally leaning Teen for this, because I'm not actually planning to write clop in this one...though I could. I guess I could. I mean, sure I could.

Hmm.

Anyway, no hurry to decide. Just wanted to get a discussion going.

Do as thou wouldst, but maybe write clop chapters in JGTD or even EGGW, perhaps?

I'd personally go for Mature, lets you get away with more. Also, is she's a Furry or a Fury? Because I don't know if that's a typo or not.

It's not a typo. You read the chapter, you should know this. :P

Depends if what you aim for. For the looks of things, I'd go to mature

Now I'm just exploring options here for the sake of discussion, but if you decided for whatever reason that you really wanted the teen rating and to be able to link to the prologue, you could always just copy paste it into the new story.

Well yeah, that's already a thing I'm doing. I have to add some new material to the prologue and expand it a bit anyway. So....yeah, the linkback is redundant in any case. Deeeeerp. :derpyderp2:

Honestly as long as it's entertaining I don't care what it's rated?

But as far as Eris is concerned...you sure this isn't based from Persona EG? :rainbowwild:

Actually, it's not the first time I've given Fluttershy a daughter named Eris. But yes, that's where the whole Eris thing started.

I don't care much which it'll be, because I'll read it anyway. Though I slightly prefer Teen, because at least I feel like this type of humor is funnier in a Teen-rating (probably the same reason why people laugh about sexual innuendos in child cartoons).

I'd say Mature. More freedom to do whatever you want that way

Unless it's a sequel, the story needs to stand on its own merits and it shouldn't matter where it originally came from. In your case, you can pretty much start a new story with only slightly modified first chapter and nobody will mind.

An anime example- Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha is a spin-off from a hentai series called Triangle Heart. While Nanoha has some fanservice, it never devolves into anything too naughty to be considered an adult only story and is currently much more known and cherished than the series it came from.

Yes.

Just yes.

I suggest you make the main story Teen, and if the story starts to lean towards clop happening, post a second story rated M for the clop.
